Premiere / Audition - Entry Point Dynamic Link Library Error

I use Premiere Pro 2017 because it runs better on my system than 2020.

When I click audio files to open in Audition I get an error dialogue box..

"The procedure entry point could not be located in the dynamic link libnrary C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe PRemiere Pro 2020\dvastsemcompatibilityreport.dll."

After I click this like 4 times it will open and I can edit and save it back to Premiere. This is a nightmare in my workflow because I have LOTS of audio files to do this with.

Anyone fixed this? Thanks.

When using the Premiere/AfterEffects dynamic link process, you really have to have quite specific paired versions of  each app. The Premiere/Audition dynamic link is more capable of handling different versions, but ... I think you're hitting the limits of what that can pair with.

I would go to the oldest Audition version you can still download, and try that one.
