Premiere LUT different on mac compared to windows?

New Here ,

Hi, just a quick question about using LUTs.

I have produced an edit for a client using a LUT to convert C Log. On windows the project and footage looks fantastic, as soon as i load the project up on a mac I get a lot of weird yellowish banding all over the image.

Camera used was a c300 Mkii if that helps.

Is there like a certain colour setting i need to change within premiere to have it the same as windows?

Thanks in advance for anyones answers to this!

Joe

1. changing to software renderer

2. disable h.264 acceleration

3. deleting the Media Cache file

4. copying over lut if its a custom lut

5. high quality playback

Thanks so much for your reply, the 1st step 'Change to software renderer' worked perfectly! Is there a reason for this as it's not going to be ideal to work with software rendering.

Hi Joe,

Thanks for posting here. The difference seems to be the Graphics card (of your Mac & Windows).

It could be the different architecture of the cards or some outdated video/display drivers.
