We provide tech support and rent out equipment for events. And the daily recordings are 8-10 hour each but the client wants them to be delivered as sessions of half hour each or each presentation separately.
Is there a way to make a queue of "render in to out" for multiple sequences ?
Or
Split a Single Sequence, that has been pre rendered, into multiple sequences and retain the Preview files, so as to help in editing and faster final render ?

Since nobody is responding I'll chime in.
I think it might be best to start off by saying you should look into how stuff is done in the pro world and then try to work out what YOU can do ( maybe during the recording of event instead of in post ) to solve your problem the easiest way.
First off, let's take movies and episodic TV and documentaries. They are slated, with many takes, and each take is a 'clip' and you add those to your sequences, etc. in post. Sometimes many cameras for different angles and coverage.
So, now let's look at horse racing ( live broadcast ) and TV news ( usually live ). Also, talk shows.
What happens is the guys recording the stuff and the camera and talent on set have little earphone things and they get instruction from the recording people. Usually you will see ( this is now popular on news shows to show how cool they are ) some person holding up fingers and counting down ( off air in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 ) and then they say ( mics dead or something..to let the talent know they can just play for 120 seconds ). The broadcaster then sticks 120 secs of commercials in that space. Then the same guy holds up fingers and says, " on air in 5,4,3,2,1 " and the talent goes live again ( this is sometimes pre-recorded even though you think it's live ).
So, the SECTIONS of the broadcast are delivered in sections ( with timecode and beeps and stuff so the commercials can get in that space perfectly ).
This is NOT 8-10 hour long events. But just the normal stuff you watch on TV and on movie screens,
Now, think about the big picture for a second.... That way you can deliver 'parts' of the stuff that was recorded or the whole thing. I can't imagine anyone shooting or watching 8-10 hour long thing, but who knows.... maybe it's fun.
You can't automatically split stuff up into sections magically and do what you want in post. You would have to do that manually ( make each sequence export from in out to fill your half hour and so on ).
It baffles me how you can do what you want without doing it manually.
Is there some way you can record the event using a video switcher and mixing thing that seamlessly just jumps to a new 'clip' name ( every half hour if you watch the clock ) is not something I know about as being available.

We do Sports Events, Commercials, Sporting events, Concerts as well and have the Production setup for it with the switchers and the Multi Cam and ISO recordings... the entire thing.
But my query was a specific one. We also do medical conferences where in Doctors and Pharmaceutical heads from around the globe gather in one place and present their findings and discuss the innovations in Medicine. And this happens in a hall with over 1000 people watching. I cant exactly direct the proceedings of such an event or intervene or go like 5,4,3,2,1 or action or cut. And in that even if I create multiple recordings Presentation wise throughout the day,my doubt still remains.
My doubt is specific to what happens in Post Production. Production is not the issue I am facing.
Thanks anyways.

If, for example, a 2 hours sequence contains 4 1/2 hours sessions that you want to deliver individually, mark an in point and an out point on the sequence for the start and end of the first session, then File > Export Media . . . and set the Source Range to Sequence In to Out:
If you've already rendered the timeline in the format you want to deliver, check the box for Use Previews and the click the Queue button.
Now repeat for the next session on the timeline, and repeat again as needed. Once you've got everything Queued in Media Encoder, start the encoding process.
As always, test and confirm the viability of workflows before you commit to them!

This shows how to export a file which I know already.
I wanna know if I can create preview files by pre rendering those sequences. And while doing that I want to queue the pre render process of all the sequences.
Or I want to create the Preview Files from one sequence and then split into multiple sequences later and still retain the preview files.
Your method might be useful if i am just cutting the files into multiple files... But if I want to add graphics or introduction slides etc to those individual sequences too, will this way work ?

Thank you for your reply.
I tried it out and your way works.
It is not 100% what I was trying to do or the way i was trying to do it by, But this way does work.
I had to change my way of editing a bit but this made it easier.
Instead of breaking down pre rendered sequence into mutliple sequences and in turn losing the previews, I added all additive graphics to the same sequence part wise; marked in to out and added them to queue.
For some reason, it's now taking 4 passes at audio while rendering though.
If its related to this, do let me know how to go back to normal.
Audio Output : AAC, 320 kbps, 48 kHz, Stereo

it's fantastic that you got a nice response for your June 20 post.
I loved how you added more info about your production shoot and all the famous people from all over the world !
As you adjust to what tools you have to work with I am sure you'll do a really fantastic job for your clients and all those famous people !
good going !
And you're welcome, for my input.
