Premiere stop playing and crash after 30 minutes

Hi forum,

I am experiencing a big issue from Adobe premiere 2015 to adobe premiere 2017. I am on a new project with 3 4k video on my time line. I am working no problem on it and after 30 minutes more or less the sound drop to 0 and the playback window turns black.

I can't do anything and when i try to leave i can't, and premiere crash...

My sequence is dnx HQ UHD 25p

I am on a PC up to date version

Asus X99

intel i7-5820k

64go ram

980 ti

lot of ssd

....

Any idea please ? is Premiere can't handle 3 4k video on a time line?

    I finally re-install windows with my software from scratch... It works now!

    I didn't install windows anniversary update from august, i ran a GPU driver from august as well and I didn't use any thirs party anti virus (generic windows defender).

    I will try to update windows and GPU driver after when i will have some free time just to try to discover what made my premiere crash like hell...

    And after premiere crash i can't load it again, i am forced to restart my computer

    Hi Clemzy,

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

    1. Is there an error message after the crash of Premiere Pro?

    2. Check if there are any error logs in Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application related to Premiere Pro.

         How to View the System Log in Event Viewer

    Premiere Pro can handle 4K files on timeline.
