Proxy footage in nested sequence

it doesn't seem possible to Toggle Proxies in a nested sequence. Can anyone confirm this?

Proxies are on or off project wide.  Their use (or not) in any type of sequence is irrelevant.

That's strange, I just created a fresh project with new footage and it works...

After a bit more digging it turns out that it doesn't work with Warp Stabilizer on

[Ann Bens]

Warp Stabilizer and Morph Cut dont use the proxies but the original footage regardless of nests being used.
