Ryzen 9 5900X CPU Upgrade Causing Crashes?

New Here ,

Hello.

Recently I have upgraded from an i7 6700k to a Ryzen 9 5900X. When I try to open a particular project file I have been working on for a while (when I still had the 6700k) it at first showed a red preview for some of the video clips in the timeline. I never found a way to fix that issue, because before I did I lost the ability to open the project all together.

It is only this one specific project that causes Premiere to crash. It will get to the "Opening Project" progress bar and crash every time. I am still able to open other projects but not this important one. I tried importing the project into another, crashes in the process. I tried reseting the workroom layout, and that did not help either. It is for sure a hardware issue on my end. I tried opening the project on a friend's PC and it worked just fine.

I am not sure what else to try, and I have attached the most recent crash log.

Thanks.

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.
from here:

If that doesn't work, try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.

If that doesn’t work, try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site. If NVIDIA, do a clean install of the latest Studio Driver (NOT the Game Driver)
