Trying to use my school account but it says I need to buy Premiere.

Last year, I took Video Production 1 at my highschool. Since the new policy for adobe and its products has been set in play, I have not been able to access all the hard work I put in to making videos on Premiere Pro and After Effects. When I try to open the application, it immediately tells me I need to purchase Premiere Pro or After Effects to continue. I can't access all the hours of work I've put into a single video, because it says I need to buy the application that I used last year IN SCHOOL. How am I supposed to be able to edit anymore if I have to get my school to buy my profile back? I'm kindof on a deadline here, so I'd appreciate any helpful feedback ASAP.

well, it was an academic license and you're no longer attending that school.  However, I'm pretty sure there's a free trial available.  You can either export video's of your finished sequences or you can export xml's of your sequences and open them in another program if you don't want to continue with adobe.   There's a free version of Blackmagic's Davinci Resolve that while not as deep an editing program as premiere is pretty amazing for free.

As long as you have a subscription to Adobe (and fully signed in to the cloud), you should not have any problems opening your projects. Your projects should be preserved and fine. If you are signed in to your Adobe account and you are still having issues, it could be that there is an issue with the login or there could be some corrupt issues that may require you to update or reinstall your Cloud Application.
