Using GPU for preview timeline

New Here ,
Aug 06, 2019 Aug 06, 2019

Hi everyone

I'm using premiere Pro 2019 to make a little vacation video of 10minutes in 1080p

When I publish the video its perfect but having some difficulties to see my progress cause of the timeline preview even in 1/8. After 5 secondes of preview, it's lagging. Have to stop, wait 3 sec and play again

I know that my hardware is not made for Adobe :

Win10 on SSD

AMD A8 7600 3.10ghz

8 gb Ram

Video files on HDD

And NO GPU

Was asking if premiere use GPU for the preview or if ts only cpu and ram?

I could buy a little GPU if better

Thx for your help

You need at least 16 gig of ram for HD footage, preferably 32 gig for 2019.

Also SSD drives and dedicated graphicscard.

I other words your machine cannot handle 2019.

Adobe Premiere Pro CC System Requirements
