Video standard for 1920 x 1080p Premiere Pro CS6

I have not been using my video editing software for several years, and now, that I'm retired, I have some more time, but I cannot remember how I set up and exported the project so it can be displayed on my Philips TV. The manual tells me that it supports 1080p. My footage is recorded with a Cannon vamera, and the details of the files are:

1920 x 1080, 25 frames per second and file type is mts.

I need to export the file to a format that will be displayed on my TV, but so far is nothing I have tried working. My media server keeps on telling me that there are no vaild files when I try to browse from my TV. I also have Encore, but I cannot find any option there, so I suppose all things are handeled from Premeire Pro
Can somone please give me a hint?

Best regards

Ulf

Have you tried H264 as your export codec, that is playable by most tvs

Just confirm your TV is PAL. And, as Richard suggests, the H.264 export default is an .mp4 file. That should play.
