When exporting video on the android app I have terrible compression artifacts. Changing export settings does not change anything. I'm using 120fps footage from a Canon R5.

Hi @VulGerrity,

I saw your video. Thanks for posting that. You might be overloading the graphics capability of your phone. You have scaling going on, for sure. Are there any color effects added? What is the frame size and codec of the original clip? Let me know. Perhaps I can make some suggestions for you. Hope to help.

Thanks,
Kevin

I assume it's h264. Idk what the r5 exports to and I can't tell from my phone. I have a pixel 7 pro. It would be unfortunate for a current gen flagship phone to be having export problems.

I also get artifact on brand new pixel 8 pro. no filters or anything. I see fourms full of people similar issues and then always blamed on user. Its a shame it would've been nice to throw stuff together o the go at work with rush and alter import to premiere etc. but seriously adobe no offence but you are blinded so many posts about this and not one seems to entertain the possiblity of a software issue on the rush side.

I mean I own adobe stock I am a fan I want yall to succeed but its just ridiculous even on a horrible phone high setting rush is supposed to be a simple friendly program I thought you hardly even have any options. So even in that case it should render itself slower orif it doesn't want to be a simple program then give like 20 export options so I can tinker and make work.  Nothing more frustrating than completing an edit that is legitimately worthless because cannot be exported in any fashion without flashing lines randomly.

Now in my case itsa brand new phone pixel pro 8 top of the line. So I'm sure its not the issue and I tried on a few settings.  And this forums just stuffed with issues about this would be so refreshing to hear someone looking into it possibly a "known issues list" and thread with similar experiences. I just saw so many posts with zero acknowledgement and just user blaming. Again not trying to put anyone on the defense people posting answers are probably not even working for adobe and out of goodness of their heart and you all have helped me so much! But when googling this issue its sickcening to see the how many people have it and not once do I see someone  saying hey yeah its a known problem we are working on a fix or here is the dedicatted post on it. Try this in the meantime as a workaround. Its like everyone is so used to things not working that they have accepted it as the norm. Man I am just hoping adobe a company I love is listening somewhere and gets their ---together with this

I think that the problem is that your phone is not listed on the system requirements page: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-rush/system-requirements.html

Unfortunately, some of the newer phones from other manufacturers are showing similar unexpected behaviors. I hope that the product team can add your device to system requirements soon. I apologize for the problem that you're facing.

Thanks,
Kevin
