It's all done with Alt codes.

Hold down the Alt key and type in the code. When you let go of the Alt key your character will be added.

Nope, no option to add an accent to a letter, but thanks anyway.

Alt Codes work PERFECTLY in Adobe Rush (and most other applications)!
Use this handy chart to reference all alphabetic accent codes:
https://usefulshortcuts.com/alt-codes/accents-alt-codes.php
If you're on a Mac, just use the Option Key instead of Alt with the same key combinations. You can even add symbols as well: ► ◄ • ▲ ▼ and many more.

Anyone know how to do this on a MAC - the option key is not the answer.  (It just types the numbers in if I try to type in an ALT CODE as suggested)
