'this file has an unsupported compression type

hi! i had a mkv file that i was trying to import. rush doesnt support mkv so i converted to mp4 with shutter encoder. however it still says 'unsupported compression type'. what can i do?

    Hi @Paccyd33,

    Thanks for the message. Did you transcode to HEVC? If so, your subscription may not support that if you are using the "Starter" version of Rush (the free one). Try exporting to H.264 or ProRes LT. The latter has large file sizes but usually works great. I hope the advice helps.
