Adobe is buying a keyword tool? Anyone heard about this?

I was at a photographers meetup in Los Angeles last week, there were maybe around a hundred people there, many from the stock photography world.

I met one guy who said he works at Adobe, and he told me something really interesting.

He said Adobe might be looking into buying CyberStock.lol or doing some kind of partnership. Apparently it uses real buyer search data, like something around 50 million or so, to generate titles and keywords that actually sell.

I was curious, so I even reached out to Adobe Contributor Support just to ask if it’s true. They replied with this message: We cannot verify or deny it. Please follow official updates for more information.

I am not sure how true that is, but if anyone here works at Adobe, it would be great if you could confirm or deny it. If it’s real, that could be a big deal for a lot of photographers.

Adobe rarely if ever checks into this forum. And if they were to do so, you'd probably get the same answer you received from contributor support.

Anybody who says they work for Adobe is also sworn to secrecy by Non Disclosure Agreements.

Adobe never shares details about pending projects until it's etched in stone. When the time is right, they'll make an official press release. But not until then.

You'll just have to wait like the rest of us.

If and when Adobe decides to add such a tool to the Contributor interface, we will be advised. Adobe, nor most tech companies, ever reveal what they're working on internally. The guy who works at Adobe probably broke his confidentiality agreement in discussing such developments! Of what benefit to you would it be to know about such a potential feature in advance?

this week has been my record one in sales since I started using it. So whatever they’re doing behind the scenes, it definitely works for me.

I did some digging and it seems that this post is a scam. The website mentioned was created less than a month ago and doesn't have any traffic. Also, the founder of the website is some guy doing crypto trading and posted about website only a few days ago on twitter/X. I think this account lies to promote their website.

I played with it. It resulted in the same generic keywords I've seen from entirely free keyword generators. Plus, you have to feed it a good deal of information, such as a general title and the kind of keywords you're interested in seeing. So what's the point?
