Adobe rejeita fotos sob a alegação de problemas técnicos.

Estou bem frustrado com a Adobe Stock.

Entendo que há sempre espaço para melhorarmos uma foto, mas no entanto posso assegurar com base na minha formação artística que não existe o certo e o errado quando se trata de uma arte ou de uma foto. 

 

A Adobe pode reprovar uma foto, duas fotos, três fotos sob a mesma alegação, mas quando reprova praticamente todas as fotos, as mesmas que são aceitas inclusive em outras plataforma da mesma relevância, acredito que falta então transparência.

 

As fotos foram tiradas e tratadas na pós produção, com o cuidado para não ter problemas técnicos, mas mesmo assim a Adobe insiste em reprová-las simplesmente dizendo que tem problemas técnicos. Eu não gostaria de fazer isso, ma diante das circustâncias eu irei cancelar o projeto que havia inserido o Adobre Stock, por falta de transparência.

Hi @Lu Pina ,

I believe you are on this forum because you read the entire rejection notice. In that case you cannot fairly say that Adobe is not transparent because you have not completed the process to receive the transparent information that you're expecting. The notice continued to say - You might also find the Academy Board Forum to be a helpful resource. You're welcome to post your image there for constructive feedback from a group of your peers. If you would like to upload a few images here, the Community members will indicate what technical issues we see. Acceptance by other stock agencies is no guarantee that your images will meet the Adobe quality standard.

Mencionei outras plataformas para reforçar o meu ponto sobre a recusa constante da Adobe, não para ter garantia obvialmente. Isso seria muito raso! E não devo colocar aqui fotos minhas para serem analisadas. Se há algo errado do ponto de vista técnico, é de extrema importância que a Adobe informe o que está errado quando eu as envio, sem cercear a criatividade do fotógrafo. 

 

O que são problemas técnicos? Exposição, enquadramento, foco, contraste, cor? Onde estão eles? Será que é preferência pessoal ou avaliação de algum algorítimo? Quais são os problemas?

 

Não me oponho a ser avaliado, de forma alguma, eu só preciso entender os critérios, pois me custou subrir minhas fotos acreditando na plataforma e na sua política anunciada. Podem recusá-las todas, mas em algum momento, certamente, não haverá mais interesse na relação.

 

Fica a observação que a arte, seja através da música, da pintura, da dramaturgia, e claro, de uma foto, tem por trás uma forma de expressão. A Adobe não pode podar a expressão de alguém. 

 

Por isso, estou abandonando a plataforma, pois tanto como contribuidor como cliente, sei que o trabalho de muita gente está sendo negado por critétios obscuros ou pessoais.

Eu gostaria de retirar da plataformas todas fotos enviadas (incluindo as que foram aceitas). E gostaria de uma confirmação que estas fotos foram realmente exlcuídas do banco de imagem. Esse direito não pode ser negado.

Hi @Lu Pina ,

I believe you will need the information at Section 6.2 and 8.1 of the Adobe Stock Contributor Agreement. You may request whatever terms and condition you wish. However, please note that any that are not embedded in the written agreement between yourself and Adobe that you both agree to at the time of your registration, Adobe is under no obligation to honor.

After more than a year here in the Community evaluating rejected images I can tell you that the primary technical issues are soft focus, overexposure (including blownout areas), underexposure, noise, chromatic aberration, leaning horizons, leaning verticals, white balance, artifacts and poor composition. Adobe Stock is not a gallery for you to display your "art". Adobe requires high quality images with commercial appeal since that's what Buyers expect. It is very uncommon for a Contributor to post a rejected image here for which the Community members are unable to identify at least one, and often more, technical issues. Sometimes those images are able to be re-edited and re-uploaded and are then accepted by Adobe.

 

There are other outlets for you to sell your art. You can create your own website on SmugMug for instance, and not be constrained by any of Adobe's requirements. 

 

If you have decided to close your Adobe Stock account, you will need to contact Adobe directly. The members of this forum are not Adobe employees and cannot help you with that.

Está explicado. Eu pensei que estivesse dialogando com um funcionário da Adobe. Talvez esteja aí o problema.

Irei contactá-los certamente. Sobre a Adobe não ser minha galeria de arte, ora, não é e nunca será, pois a minha relação aqui é comercial. Perdi o meu tempo para subir o meu trabalho, e isso me custou. Estou manifestando a minha opinião no lugar errado. Eu devo contactar a Adobe e já vi que não é por aqui.

The submission criteria is not a dark mystery.  It's in the Stock Contributor User Guide.  Did you read it?

 

Adobe Stock reviewer's job is to accept or reject hundreds of images per week. That's their only job.  There are not enough hours in week to give detailed feedback to every contributor whose work was rejected.  Inasmuch as you're unwilling to post examples of your rejected work here, I suggest you join a photography club for feedback.

Pode não ser misterioso, mas a impressão que dá é esta! 

Agradeço a sua sugestão de procurar um clube de fotografia, assim como a do seu colega de procurar outro lugar para colocar a minha "arte", mas como ja citei, não é nada disso que procuro. Eu estou no lugar errado. Por favor, exclua o meu post pois cheguei aqui por engano. Era o suporte técnico da Adobe que procurei inicialmente e é com a Adobe que preciso falar.

Hi @Lu Pina,

Here's where stock contributors get technical support. All you need to do is to follow the instructions in the rejection notice, and like the hundreds of thousands of contributors who get thousands of rejected files and learn from this forum how to increase their acceptance ratio and more so how to identify errors, you could learn also. There is absolutely no one that submit to Adobe that do not have thousands of files rejected, - many of whom now have 10s of thousands of file on the platform generating royalty. Learning takes humility and willingness to follow instruction whether you like it or not.

Adobe Stock is NOT an art gallery.  It's a microstock agency.   Microstock agencies have submission requirements and quality standards based on what their customers actually purchase, not what contributors think they will purchase.  Also ranting about how great you are and how terrible Adobe Stock is doesn't change anything.

 

If you don't want to play the game by Adobe's rules, that's fine.  You may opt out of the program anytime you wish. Maybe you'll have better luck at other stock agencies.  

 

Whatever you decide, I wish you good luck.

This is the provision that Adobe puts in place to have the issues of your files highlighted. There are many who upload to Adobe, only to realize that what is accepted in their profession is not acceptable for stock photography.

 

Also did you read the information at the link provided for you in the rejection notice?

And this detailed List Of What Is Required for you to earn from stock photography.

Read up on all the information in the above links. Look at your photos and see if they really meet the mark. Also, upload two of those rejected here for us to help you to identify the errors.
