First time posting photos on stock and they were rejected for quality.

All, So I can correct my submissions going forward, I am looking for any additional insight as to why the photos I submitted may have be rejected due to quality issues. Thanks in advance for your input.

Hi @Josh19426 ,

Your phone does not produce the pictures in the quality needed.

 

Your first also applies a fake background blur filter that rarely works correctly and always creates artefacts:

Your second and third have the same optical issues (chromatic aberration) because you photographed into the sun.

You also have washed out details and missing contrast.

 

Additionally, your colour profile is wrong. This should be sRGB as of the requirements.

    I may add that with your first image, you probably used some portrait program, which tries to get portraits nicely done with a blurred background. That works nicely on a small screen, but if you look at the details, you see the defects. The small optics are simply not done for that. Best is to avoid this program, except if you want a picture for the web.

      1277 has a color cast, too magenta, and should be cropped to eliminate the blownout sky. The depth of field is also too shallow, rendering much of the image out of focus.

      1265 - not In Focus and underexposed shadows 

      1266 - same as above plus chromatic aberration
