Your incorrect choice of photos vs. illustration is not the reason you are waiting for review. Reviews for many contributors are taking two to three months in many cases. That said, in order change the category, simply delete the image and re-upload it.

That's indeed the only possibility to change that, but that will also put your asset again at the end of the waiting queue, this time in the illustrations queue. There seems to be no good solution. 😵‍💫

MAYBE. 🙂 With so many people saying their newer assets are being reviewed over older ones (I'm one of them, as is @Jill_C I believe), it could possibly be selected before the night over. Things aren't like they used to be, by any means. But yeah, I've yet to delete older assets and resubmitting out of an abundance of caution. Little by little, they are being reviewed.

I tried to delete, is there an option to delete after the image is already waiting for analysis? I can't find this option.

Select the image you want to delete. The delete text is at the bottom on the right-hand side. If you don't see it, reduce the size of your browser window.
