It says "Assets are reviewed in the order they are received", however, some photos submitted 5,6,and 7 months ago without any review, instead my recent photos submitted got reviewed. Contacted Adobe but no reply so far, is this a bug and what can I do?

The old first-in/first-out rule no longer seems to apply. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to hasten the process. Adobe either doesn't reply to queries on this subject, or sends a canned response. All will get reviewed eventually.

Did you use a bulk submission tool or upload them individually?

After this much time, I would delete and resubmit them.

IDK what do you think guys, but Adobe is not a start-up, its a giant company, I can't see this normal, 7 months is not something that should be allowed, some people must live from this.

Or it's a negligence bec they don't need to care about contributors, or there is something bigger behind all this times.

Adobe claims to have tripled the size of their moderation team; however due to the popularity of the Stock business, and the Generative AI boom, with its low cost of entry for that asset type, Contributors are uploading hundreds or thousands of assets at a time. As a result the backlog of unreviewed images remains huge, probably many millions. Nevertheless, I believe they should alter their reviewing strategy to be sure that no one waits more than 8 weeks.

I guess, but my biggest question is, Why they process some newer content, and not the backlog? For example, imagine some one who upload some Halloween content, They want to sell it before it, so you have to upload it a year before? It have no sense, 2 months before its reasonable, but not 7, in my opinion.

Thnks for the answer

No one knows why or how they are prioritizing some content but leaving others to languish for months...  but everything does get reviewed eventually and if approved will remain for sale forever. I don't submit much seasonal content, but if I did, I'd probably submit it 6 months or more in advance. If you miss the Halloween season this year, your content will still be available next year.

I upload seasonal content up to 4 months in advance, allowing time for getting the assets accepted, and plenty of time for the assets to be created in advance for the buyers. Last year, one of my clients needed Christmas cards in October. Some companies start with the designer, then the samples are shuffled through different departments or individuals to put in their two cents as to what might be improved.

Well, If your lucky that your content is reviewed in time, at least this year seems like it need more than 4 months

Adobe doesn't guarantee a steady income for individuals who submit to Adobe stock, even if assets are accepted. If income is an issue, consider submitting to other stock sites in the meantime.

That said, @Nancy OShea's advice is a good one. While I have not been affected by the long delays, I have assets that have been languishing for weeks while my latest submissions are reviewed almost immediately. Something appears to be broken.

Oh I would like to have an income 🙂

I'm just starting with the stock, so I'm a bit frustrated bec I want to learn and improve, and it's a bit difficult to learn only once every 4 months ^^
