Terminated/Deactivated Contributor Accounts [MERGED by Moderator]

Community Beginner ,
Aug 20, 2025 Aug 20, 2025

My Adobe Contributor account was unexpectedly disabled without any apparent reason. I have thoroughly reviewed their guidelines and am confident that I have not violated any of them. On the day my account was disabled, I had to received my funds (I believe it was the 10th business day), which I was due to receive. Despite having sent an email to address this issue, I have yet to receive a response. I am seeking advice on how to proceed in order to have my account reinstated and to successfully withdraw the funds owed to me.

You are not addressing Adobe here but contributors like yourself, and we can do nothing to be of assistance. Use the "Contact us" link to ask for details and wait for a response, which you appear to have done. It will most likely be awhile to hear from them outside of a possible generic email notifying you that your email has been received. Keep an eye on your junk mail if necessary. Do not attempt to contact Adobe repeatedly, as doing so only slows down Adobe's investigation.

I am an artist and student and adobe stock account has been active since years. i never faced any issues since all my upload were my own art. Since a few months my account has been deactivated and they say i may have violated guidelines. I don't know what exactly it is, but if it helps, a lot of my digital drawings were classified as AI by adobe stock. I do not know if this is related to the issue and if they think i uploaded ai art as my own but that isn't the case. Please help me with who to contact since the contact forms just give me automated responses and the live chat agents say they "are not the right team". Any advice is help thank you!

You were given a "Contact Us" link when you were notified that your account was deactivated. I assume you responded. If so, that is all you can do until Adobe responds. How long that will take depends on how many investigations are going on before yours. It can be days or even weeks. Your only option is to be patient.

As @daniellei4510 mentioned, you were given a contact link "Contact Us" on your screen. Look at your screenshot. So why ask us who you should contact and why use the chat?
Use the link and then wait, wait and wait until you get a response. There is nothing else you can do.

Dear Adobe Stock community,

I recently noticed that my Adobe Stock account has been deactivated. This is very frustrating for me, as I have tried to contribute to the platform through my work.

I know that Adobe has policies and procedures that everyone must follow. However, I did not receive any clear reason or instructions about what went wrong or how I could resolve this issue before my account was deactivated.

I respect Adobe's policies and would like a chance to understand and resolve the issue. I have always cared about the accuracy and originality of my work. If there is a mistake, I am willing to correct it.

Members of the Adobe community and support team, please help me resolve this situation. I believe that my issue can be resolved with a humane approach.

Thank you.

You are not addressing Adobe here but contributors like yourself. You were given a Contact Us link on your dashboard. Your only option, if you haven't already, is to contact Adobe. They will get back to you eventually, depending on how many investigations are ahead of yours. There is no one here who can be of help. Also, you should never include your personal information such as your email address on this forum.

The Adobe support team does not monitor this forum, and none of the community members, who are contributors as well, have any influence over getting your account restored. All you can do is use the Contact Us link to reach out to Adobe Contributor Support, as indicated by @daniellei4510, and await their response. They don't have any mechanism of warning you in advance of any potential violations of the guidelines and T&C's. It's up to you to read those carefully and comply.

That's how it works. They detect one or more violations and block your account. The only way to find out what happened is to write to them via the link given to you on the blocking screen.  However, their answer there will also be a general one.  You will need to study the terms and conditions and check with your submitted assets about possible issues.

Hello Adobe Stock Team and Community,

My contributor account was recently suspended due to what was described as “unusual sales activity.” I would like to express my concern and kindly ask for clarification on this matter.

I have never used any fraudulent methods, bots, or illegal practices to boost my sales. All of my work and transactions on Adobe Stock have been made in good faith. I do not understand why my account was banned simply because of an unusual increase in sales.

It would not make sense for me to risk my account, especially one that has been active for more than 45 days, with earnings already cleared and available for withdrawal. My only goal is to contribute quality content and build a fair partnership with Adobe Stock.

I respectfully request:

1. A clear explanation of the reason for my suspension.

2. A review of my case so my account can be reinstated.

3. The release of my pending payout, which I believe I have earned legitimately.

I have seen other contributors facing similar issues, so I kindly ask for transparency and fairness in these decisions.

Thank you for your time and understanding. I sincerely hope for a positive resolution.

By now you should have seen posts saying this is a community of contributors. I suggest you spend more time looking and reading posts addressing your problem, even asking AI for suggestions on solving this will help you more.

I assure you, Adobe's business model does not include a plan to arbitrarily and unfairly boot contributors out.
also suggest you practice the art of patience and let the process play out, If you are certain you have done nothing wrong this problem will get solved. Coming here asking for transparency doesn't help your case... in all cases of suspicious activities and deactivations, there are too many variables in play, that I bet tend to point to bad choices made by contributors:
One more thing, the work all of us submit not only has to be good enough, it must be consistently be great!

Otherwise Adobe would not be interested in partnering with them, and all of us ready to accept that.

For some reason Adobe Stock blocked the topic, I had to create a new one.

Solved: Re: Account deactivated due to suspicious activity... - Adobe Product Community - 15459359

The sales are handled by the Adobe Stock Contribution marketplace, not the author.
The author creates content and uploads it to the marketplace.
Why then does Adobe Stock Contribution make a large sale and block the author's account?
Who makes large purchases?
Why does Adobe Stock allow a large purchase?
Why does Adobe Stock block an account after a large purchase?
I don't control sales, I can't influence them. Sales are handled by Adobe Stock.

There are plenty of way to manipulate your sales which will result in your account being blocked.

Common Ways and Reasons for "Artificially Inflating Sales"

1. Purchasing your own content: This is one of the most direct forms of sales manipulation. A contributor might use a different Adobe account or a new subscription to license their own assets, boosting their sales numbers and search ranking.

2.Using fraudulent or stolen payment methods: Licensing assets using stolen credit cards or other illegal payment methods to generate sales for a contributor's account. This is a severe form of fraud that is likely to result in immediate and permanent account closure.

3. Sudden and suspicious spikes in sales: Adobe's systems are designed to detect unusual sales patterns. If an account that typically has a low volume of sales suddenly gets a large number of downloads in a short period (e.g., hundreds of sales in a couple of days), it can trigger an investigation. This is especially true if the sales occur right before a payout request.

4.Using a "sales boosting service" or "click farm": Some contributors may use third-party services that promise to increase sales by having a network of people or bots license their content. Adobe considers this a violation of its terms.

5.Creating multiple accounts to submit the same or similar content: While not a direct form of sales inflation, creating multiple accounts to submit similar assets can be an attempt to circumvent upload limits or game the search algorithm, which can be seen as a form of content fraud.

6.Refund activity: A high number of refunds on licenses from a particular account can also be a red flag. This might indicate that the sales were not genuine or were part of a scheme to manipulate the system.

I would say that if, like you say, you had spikes from 8-10 sales/day to 80-100 sales/day that is what set off alarms and is warranted.
If you wish to appeal, there is a correct way.

I didn't buy my works. Adobe Stock is engaged in sales.
Why doesn't Adobe Stock set up their system so that it doesn't allow so much to be bought at once if it violates their rules. Why does Adobe Stock make large sales if it violates their rules and they block the account for it and take the money from the large sale from the author?
Why doesn't Adobe Stock do it only after the buyer contacts the Adobe Stock administration and tells them that he wants to buy a lot of works and can do this only after Adobe Stock's permission.
Who makes large purchases?

All this makes you think:
1 Competitors who have accounts on Adobe Stock eliminate competitors in this way.
2. Just sabotage.
3 After a large sale, Adobe blocks the account and takes the money from the large sale. Adobe does this to a very large number of authors. It is possible that some Adobe Stock employees are colluding with someone to launder dirty money in this way.

How many author accounts were blocked after large sales?
What was the total amount of money that Adobe took after blocking an account due to a large sale?

Who makes such large purchases if after that Adobe deactivates the account and takes the money?
