Combined Thread: Download issues week of 07/26/2023

This is the combined thread of users experiencing issues with downloading assets from the Adobe Stock website.

Please answer the following questions if your post has been moved to this thread:

  1. What ISP are you using?
  2. What asset types are you having issues with? Photos, videos, etc.
  3. Does switching to a VPN resolve the issue for you?

 

We are working to resolve this issue and your responses will help us determine next steps.

I am using Chrome with AT&T fiber high speed trying to download a 5MB vector, not on a VPN with no firewall. I have followed all the suggested fixes by Adobe and nothing has helped...I continue to get a "Network Error" message after waiting for an hour for an asset to download, which is also noted by hundreds of users.  I can download in seconds from other sites like Shuttersock, etc.  This is isolated to Adobe Stock, and obviously a widespread issue affecting thousands of businesses and users. My business is at a standstill losing money by the hour.  Adobe needs to get this resolved immediately. Not acceptable for a paid service with such high brand recognition.  I'm seriously considering switching providers after this unresolved, way-too-long crisis. 🙎

Here are 2 screen shots showing assets with 52 minute download time and also eventually timing out and showing "Network Error".  These are 6MB vectors.

I did everything suggested - cleared history and cache, changed from Chrome to Firefox, bought and installed a new internet router from AT&T, rebooted the computer, and tried downloading images from Unsplash and it worked fine.

Answers to questions:

1.  ISP = AT&T

2.  Asset = photos

3.  I don't have access to a VPN

I'm on my private computer. Tried using Firefox - did not work any better. I asked several friends to try from their home computers - same problem I'm experiencing.

1) AT&T Fiber

2) All assets download slowy and usually fail

3) Don't have a VPN

2. Slow downloads that result in empty files.

Same problem here as well. Simple JPGs are taking forever to download. I'm on terabit internet from ATT Fiber.

Hi Im trying to download images and they are failing is the website down?

I can't download any of the stock images in my license history so it's not limited to an image file - it's a general outage. I even tried adding it to my library and it shows there but then the asset won't load into my .indd document. Download/upload speeds for any other service is doing fine. Issues are limited to Adobe Stock.
