I'm so tired of this happening. I pay almost $60 a month for Creative Cloud. This has happened before though. It stopped but now it's happening again.
I'm using the software. I downloaded free stock to use. I have one of the apps open. So I then go and get more free stock. My account is loaded into the browser [you'll see my email address proving I'm connected to my account].
I type in a search for stock, images come up, I switch to video, find what I need and click on the license for download but then it acts like I'm a guest and to "sign up for a free trial." How do I fix this? It's incredibly annoying when I'm in the middle of working on something.
The video below shows this. You won't see my mouse movements because I'm using free software to record it but I added arrows and so forth.
Adobe has limited the number of free stock assets that can be downloaded per day to 3. Is it possible that you're coming up against the daily limit?

Oh, OK I wasn't aware of that. Thanks for letting me know.

OK thank you. For me, the odd thing is that prompt that comes on telling you that if you want to download more to sign up for an account. Perhaps Adobe can update it to say you've reached your daily limit.

It's unlikely that they'll do that, though you can suggest it as a feature if you wish. The free collection exists as a promotion to encourage stock users to engage in a subscription!

Do as @Jill_C suggests: pass this over to the stock team as an idea.
I think that the limit got installed ad hoc to avoid having people harvesting the free collection. That slows down the traffic on the site and avoids cannibalizing the paid subscriptions.

I am a paid user and Adobe limits my downloads for free assets to 0. Every time I try to use a Free Adobe Stock asset from within an application I either get a "come back tomorrow" message, or an error. I feel like I have done everything, restarting, clearing memory, waiting a day, trying different apps i.e. Photoshop, Preimere... I have tried different computers, including both Windows and Mac, different browsers, Opera, Safari, Edge, Chrome. All give me the same message, and what is also annoying is even within the same browser if I open a new tab I get a new login message. I have the security in all my browsers set to essentially zero with all pop-up blockers. It is really frustrating how tightly Adobe is locked down for paid users.

Hi @Walstad,
Your issue is probably something other. Please tell me what asset precisely you want to licence. If you have more than one, you can include all assets, but please not more than 3. That should be enough for me to check those.
Please tell me also your region.
And if you could include screenshots of the error and the actions you take to try to licence, that would be helpful.
