Image Solution to solve Default Problems with Unwanted AI Images?

Hi All,

A while back, I was expressing my concerns on AI being on by default in Stock. Post was entitled Persistent Account Based Setting to Disable Generative AI? (sorry - I don't know how to create a link to another post). I posted a rationale for my request at that time, and noted that I prefer (strongly) to work with original artists and not AI.

Today, I did notice at a competitor (Shutterstock) that AI generated Images are a *SEPARATE* menu item.  So my question is: Why couldn't Adobe do something similar? That makes it really easy to ignore all of the AI ones. Yes, I did notice that Adobe recently added a feature that shows if an image is AI when you hover over it. But that doesn't solve the problem of all the clutter from AI that I still need to remember to filter out.

Thanks

Michael

Use the search filter to avoid generative AI in your search list:

I was under the impression that Shutterstock and Getty Images does now allow AI at all (though Shutterstock has their own AI generator). Has their policy changed?

I don't know 100% for sure. I am not a Shutterstock customer - I was just
cruising their plans. I clicked on their images and they all looked normal
based on a *limited* browse (AI tends to look a bit different). I then went
to their options under *All Images* and there was an option for AI
Generated - I assumed at this point that other submenu options did not
include AI. I just did the image search from their home page (any old
topic) and then looked at the dropdown under All Images.
