Light is not working using OpenGL in 3D view

I'm trying to use a spotlight but it doesn't give any effect even when changing the intensity to 10000 nothing changed, while the effect shows when shifting from openGL to IRay.

Thanks for chasing this through Cyril. It might be worth adding a clarifying note in the documentation.

Thanks @AyaEissa and thanks @davescm for reporting.

After a talk with the rest of the team, I can confirm the point lights are in fact not implemented with Adobe Standard Material shader in OpenGL. You'll have to switch for an older shader or keep using the Iray.

@Cyril Dellenbach I can replicate the issue here. The point lights work in IRay but have no effect in OpenGL. Turning off Environment lighting in Open GL results in black objects regardless of the point light settings.

Unfortunately, nothing changed. I tried creating another graph but I faced the same issue.

Hi @AyaEissa,

Does resetting the lights help? LMB on Lights panel > Reset Lights

Let me know,
