Can't follow tutorials because of missing assets

Question

I am using the trial version and trying to go through the Spiderbot tutorial. "Materials" is the only asset list that is not grayed out. I can't select anything else. Most of the materials are missing so I am not able to follow the tutorial. How am I suppsed to learn it? What is the point of a trial if I cant even follow tutorils? Adobe!!!!

Hello @Keyframer, it's Adobe speaking,

I admit that the UI isn't very clear in that situation, but don't worry you have access to the entire default library. It's just that a "Material" filter is already applied. Click on the Funnel icon to select a different asset category or expand the window to display all categories.

You can now select "Smart Materials" or any other asset. The trial version as the exact same features as all other versions.
