Need access to older versions for work. Please help.

I have had a subscription for Substance Suite for the last 14 months.  My work necessitates that I use the same version of Substance Painter on my home machine that my company uses, which is 2020.2.2.  Which leads me to the following questions:

1) When I am eventually forced to transfer to the Adobe platform, will there be any way for me to keep using version 2020.2.2?

2) If I purchase a perpetual license via Steam, does it currently enable access to older versions, such as 2020.2.2?

Thanks,

Christopher

On Steam we only offer the previous version (7.1.x - 2021.1.x) for now.

On the Creative Cloud Desktop the minimum version is 7.2.0. This is the starting point as older versions are not been publishes there. However after any future release it will be possible to go back to this version and all the ones in-between.

I have both SP 2021 (don't know the exact version) and SP 2020.2.2 on steam.

Yes, but Painter 2020 is a separate product. Only version 2021 can be bought now and it only offers version 7.1 (2021.1) as fallback if you don't want the latest version.

I bought SP on steam and I can confirm you have access to download and use also 6.2.2 (2020) as well as the latest 2021 version.
