Every file gets stuck in loading.

Stager will crash while attempting to open any file. The files wwill attempt to load but the software will crash while the bar reads a random percent. Usually it's 2% but will sometimes list 4%-40%. I used to get lucky and the file would end up loading but after several computer restarts this has become a concernable issue. My co-worker has no issues opening said files on his end and our computers have comparable specs. I'm working off the latest Studio Drivers with a clean install. I also tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling it and running into the same issues.

 

My specs below:

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 19045) (19041.vb_release.191206-1406)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10850K CPU @ 3.60GHz (20 CPUs), ~3.6GHz
Memory: 32768MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 32686MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 12
DirectX Database Version: 1.0.8

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

Display Memory: 24374 MB
Dedicated Memory: 8032 MB

    Any information regarding stability with current drivers?  I would like to at some point update to present drivers without loosing the application function.

    Ah, nevermind. Turns out it just took a really long time to open for some reason.

    Well, we're back to having this issue. I haven't updated my drivers since rolling them back but now an older file is getting stuck on the loading screen.

    The first thing is too roll back to the 537.XX drivers and tell us if it works for you?
    The log is in the menu bar Help/get logs.

    I rolled back to NVIDIA Studio driver 537.58 and so far haven't had an issue opening files. This seems to have worked for me.

    Do you mean roll back from 546.01?

    Hi! can you try to install 537.XX drivers? But before if it's possible to had the log file of the issue. Let me know if you need help to share and find the infos!

    Same issue. 

     

    Screenshot: stuck at 1% when trying to open previous file.

    - To get out of this screen, I need to use al+ctrl+delete. 

     

    Question:

    Will generating a log by reopening the program still generate useful information to submit to substance3dbugs@adobe.com?

     

     

    The universal Adobe fix (uninstall, then reinstall stager through creative cloud app), works in my case, but I don't have the time nor patience to uninstall/reinstall Stager every time I restart my computer.

     

    What a problem this has become.  Unable to depend on expensive software, what's the point?
