Ok, so you aren't using any Adobe software at all. I assumed you were at least printing from Acrobat Reader since you've posted here.

But I can tell you that printing to PDF will NEVER make links whether you use Microsoft's PDF Printer, if you pay for Adobe's PDF Printer, or any other PDF printer. There are many ways to create PDF that do preserve links, but this is not one of them.
