Usually it good practice to state what application your trying to "Print From", such as DC Reader, Dreamweaver, etc... To answer your question is simple. Most programs that live on your computer possess an API that points to the process to print. Sometimes this process get "Hung UP" and will not allow any other print jobs to continue. Easiest way to solve this is to do a "Reboot" or "Restart". This should solve the problem. If it does not and you still cannot print, make sure you visit the printers manufacturing web site to download the latest drivers as Nancy OShea asked. Also, try and run your Windows update as sometimes this resolves driver and Windows system issues and as always make sure your personal applications are always updated as well. This may sound like a lot of hassle but it is worth doing to avoid these annoying little issues like you are experiencing.

You've posted to the Forum Lounge, a non-software-specific hangout for all Adobe users.

Which program, version and operating system are you using?

Knowing that will allow a moderator to move your question to a location populated by users of the same software.

What software are you using? Photoshop? InDesign? Acrobat? Something else?
