Well... not asking for Glyphs panel for XD (after years asking for it, seems is not longer an important feature for UI design) Simply asking for proper rendering to work with them. In older versions, at least the Glyph was rendered as a square when copy-pasted from Illustrtator. Now I've to deal literally with the name of the glyph itself!... obviously, absolutelly insane. Below... trying to emulate a so mundane thing as an Unordered List. When selected the glyph list to delete some of them, they become a word! As light in quantum physics, the dual nature of the Glyph, an image or a description depending on the observer conscient interaction 🙂

No... Dark Mode isn't simply the "negative" UI of the original one. Dark mode is a balanced contrast between dark greys and a slightly greyed white. white over black would hurt eyes as it does the black over white backgrounds. Even other apps from adobe have the possibility to choose different darkness values as needed. Simply take a look at the rest of programs out there (even MS Office has started to use it in Outlook!!), and you'll see why jump from Photoshop or Illustrator to XD is a real visual pain, our retina has to constantly adapt to brightness and darkness, loosing focus and patience.

Simply, I've been suffering constant freezes (needing reboot PS) when trying to resize any image. It seems it happens with cvertain type of resample algorythm. Not tryed everyoone... but sometimes, changing it, it doesnt crashes. I'm currently working on a Dell with Windows 10 up to date. SSD disk and 16MB RAM

By the way... why keep two different forums/communities? Really it's not efficient to write here when there is already other places with the same questions. We make a big effort to write and share issues while working. Only one place to publish would be enough (even, this "Support Comunity doesn't work right... always have error messages about HTML content in my posts, and constantly asking me to login... Hey!... know it's a recursive pray since the first XD versions. But important enough to insist, even Whatsapp have it's own dark-mode nowadays! So please, take a time to give us an extra life for our visual and cognitive system. With only two actions you could save us from headaches and migrains. dark-mode UI (as already exists in each of the other Adobe tools) Higher contrast in menu items and panels. Still a pain when working in high light level enviroments combined with the white UI background.

Rebooted and still not shortkey. But... after change some times the keyboard language from windows options, it worked again. Seems it is a common problem with Windows ystems running several languages with local keyboards (very common here in Europe) I've had many problems with shortkeys also with Illustrator, the mapping of the most used shortkeys are imposible to accomlish with non english keyboards. Hence the custom shortkeys... a hard job to do manually. Thnak you!

Seems the previous working Column grid layout shortkey doesn't work. At least for me, working on Windows. Grid layouct still working. I'll try to record some vid. Anyway, it should be unvaluable that Adobe himself could provide their fellow users a simple screen recorder to do that. I have not much time/knowledgements to look for tools and convert videos to useful formats to hang over here.

Not experienced in any other file... only this one. Anyway, I've posted here because sometimes we feel alone with small issues that can't find anywher googling, but here sometimes get feedback from other users that found themselves in similar situatuions. Just found when I've been exploring a template from behance (Hand-drawn_UI_Kit_Behance). I was trying to select a type style component, but instead, there were highlighted and the compnents some rows below it. While moving the cursor over types, the displaced "focused" zone moved along with it. In the screenshot below, you can see that even the cursos triggers the info about the instances related to this character style. But only being hilighted the Components while movin the cursor.

So, after some days without significant issues, I've experienced the following issues that I already reported a week or so ago (https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-xd/undo-not-working-components-locked-by-no-reason-etc-lost-1-hour-of-work/td-p/11402111?page=1) Text objects behavior randomly... jumping text when I try to move, and flickering paragraphs animating from left aligned to centered aligned interminently. (even, the left/centered icons on toolbar disapears) Line heights broken when I select the text with the Text Tool. When I deselect it, line height turns to normal again. Although I select the selection tool, text is still in edition mode. Clicking outside the text doesn't work. UNDO doesn't work. Save don't work I've to reboot it. My machine configuration is the following one. XD Version 31.22.3 - Cretive cloud sync 4.3.57.2 Dell running Windows 10 / Intel i7-4770 @ 3.40Ghz / 16gb RAM / SDD 250GB The file is a new one than the one I created in my last post. Below: Select tool active, text still in edit mode. If I try to move it, it moves randomly and jumps from left aligned to center aligned intermitently. Left/center icons dissapear.

Only solved after close document and reopen it. It started to happen today, although I've seen strange behaviors in complex components since last update. The issues are growing... not only delays and strange behaviors on components. Now Undo (ctrl. + Z) has stopped working. Don't know is the file or the app... I'm not developer. I only know I've lost more than one hour of work after make some undos after try to correct the issues I'm having with XD. Can't Undo, nor Redo As there isn't any visual button for "undos" I can't tell if it's a DX issue, or the shortcut doen't work Some components are locked, without any kind of lock (not lock icon over object, nor "unlock" i right contextual button) Those elements can't be deleted, ungrouped or moved. Selected items are no longer highlighted in the Layers tab Strange nesting and constrains that makes almost impossible to edit the components. Needing to delete them and start again from zero.

Just started to notice today... when selectig objects inside components, these aren't highlighted in the corresponent left Layer's tab. Forcing now to look for all the elements one by one. 1 . Top component keeps highlighted... 2 . While selected object should be highlighted.

Yess... message twice. To write messages here is also full of bugs. HTML content errors, delays and more error messages because "I've added" HTML on the body of the message. Worst of all... Support community doesn't remember my credentials, so I've to login each time I want to write issues.

Just updated this mornig XD, and found worse issues with text boxes than the ones already before. Now I have bizarre linespacing between lines of text... seems random, but sure there is a pattern behind. As you can se in the picture, now the box is filled with a top big height spacing when trying to edit with "T" text tool. Obviously this text box was ok when edited last week (well... not "ok" but atleast, their random spacing and line height were predictable)

Just yesterday i had a verd bitter discussion with my customer, after two years, he simply said it was "crazy" the amount of hours I added to the two year project. I've lost the next big project because I couldn't justify anything. Simply, 80% of my production time has been focused to solve XD issues, bugs and absurd counterintuitive usability. I told it was a new "technology" and blah, blah... even I felt ashamed to tell them such amount of of vague excuses and lies. I've lost two years and half of my life learning something that is useless and destroyed my healt (yes... even my eyes! In a "dark mode" age, XD is still a hurting white background stained with low contrast gray diminute characters, that couldn't pass the most permissive of accessibility tests) Obviously I've lost the client... but there are stil very good tools out there (and cheaper). So Adobe, hope you all have a good retirement plan, because I'm only tied to you by Illustrator and XD (and illustrator, my friends, is a battle lost)

Not usefull... with more than 100 hundred artboards, many of them with similar names, or even not meanuingful ones, the act of search something is very time consuming and un-intuitive. When at last I find what I was looking for, I forgot why I needed. Is like to search components in assets... hundreds and hundreds of small icons with no hierarchy, too much cognitive effort that breaks de work flow and focus. XD needs a meaningfull and user friendly way to manage vast amounts of "things", as usual we found on a normal project. My projects usually end with hundreds of proposals, user cases and alternatives, and uncountable components. Sketch solved very easilly years ago, with folders to organize components. It is as easy as follow "atomic" design guidelines... each component is in a logical hierarchycal tree, you can find quick whatever you need using only common sense.

Hey... atleast don't make us waste our time marking the answer as "Solved" or "correct". It's far from solved... it's simply consigned to oblivion. Each week I have to lose hours searching for solutions to the myriad of XD bugs and issues... all are "solved". Obviously, when you think you found your salvation, you face a crude answer from 2016 telling it's in the backlog.
