HI, It could be that the font seems to have the same name as the one installed on your system but is actually a different font. I also had a similar issue when a font management software tried to 'fix' a font in the background and corrupted it so it was unusable. As you are inheriting a file from a previous designer, there are a few places to check is stray text exists: hidden layers, text on pasteboards that are hard to see, illustrator files placed in InDesign that use the font creating the issue. ... Hi, The 'Table of Content' will adapt to your updates. You just need to refresh it from the Layout menu, as long as you are consistent with the formatting styles. The page numbering will adapt as well, wich will be updated in the Table of Content. Regarding the pictures, that's another challenge. Have you tried to print 2 single pages then flip them back-to-back to see if it is aligned, to test if it is the two-sided process or to locate any adjustments to make in your design. It does if you are on a Windows platform, sometimes Windows does not have the Bold version of the font and simulates the bold look. Make sure in your font folders that you have a bold version of the font you use. It does not make sense if you only use Arial as it is pretty standard. I would try to outline the text before exporting to check the pdf file size. If it is a document with a few pages, you might get away with it. If the file contains too much text, it will make the file size too large to work with. I had similar issues a long time ago, the problem was solved when the memory was upgraded on the computer. I found a workaround by printing using an advanced option (on Windows only, I think) that allows sending the print in small chunks. The computer does the processing, not the printer, allowing more memory to be used. Have you tried other PDF standards?
