Copy/Paste will certainly work, I do not know what you have read online but copying actions, brushes... and pasting will work if you have them in default locations. If you have actions/presets anywhere else but loaded in Photoshop then copy/paste to a new computer and load them in Photoshop.

In which format you have file? If you have file as JPG file then select icon using any selection method that you know (including the Pen Tool to trace vector outline) then press Ctrl / Cmd + J to duplicate selection on new layer or create vector mask (if you have vector path outline). The next step will be to drag/save item into some library in Window > Libraries panel so you can quickly and instantly access it (I am assuming that you are using latest or recent version of Photoshop) Otherwise if you have vector format then open it in Illustrator (if you have it installed) and drag item into Libraries panel. Libraries are available in multiple programs so you can easily access saved items.

There is Puzzle layer style in Photoshop CC 2019 which you can use Open Window > Styles panel Click on Styles panel menu (hamburger icon in the top right corner) and choose: Photographic Effects then click on Append button Ensure that selected layer is not locked Background layer then click on Puzzle style to apply it. I have problem from time to time, with files opened using Home screen with exactly the same symptoms: menu items greyed out and in general everything freeze. The last time I had this experience was with PSD file which has nothing to do with Lightroom.

For the second issue I can suggest to check keyboard shortcuts from Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts, perhaps someone changed shortcuts, if not then try to reset preferences.

Ensure that you have latest versions of both software installed and try to open Photoshop first then edit image from Lightroom. I just tested on Win 10 and it works fine.

You can have as many adjustment layers of its kind as you want per file. There isn't any limitation as far as I know.

On your second screenshot you have Delete Cropped Pixels checked but you are still doing wrong thing: you are trying to crop Smart Object layer. To get problem solved please rasterize Smart Object layer (right click on layer > Rasterize Layer) then use Crop tool with Delete Cropped Pixels checked.

Good catch. That's the problem, probably and someone should clearly write that: So, mr.bartonlew we think that your problem is in pixel dimensions. You must check option "Delete Cropped Pixels" in the Options bar before cropping the image using Crop tool otherwise you are not making the image smaller in the eyes of Adobe Camera Raw.

It is original image but he cropped to 7000x14000 pixels (middle screenshot) and still getting the error message. Check screenshots again.

You can paint with shade of grey on mask to control gradual adjustment or you can use black to white gradient on mask. When using the Crop tool do you have Delete Cropped Pixels in the Options bar checked? Without this option checked you will see smaller dimensions in Image Size dialog but your image will be larger because pixels are hidden not deleted. That may cause a problem.

I am glad you solved the problem on your own just to mention that keyboard shortcut for Rotate View Tol is still letter (key) R. Letter H is default shortcut for Hand tool.

Here is what you need to do documented with screenshots: Paint with black on layer mask where you want to hide adjustment. If you have painted with black where you want to apply adjustment then select mask and press Ctrl/Cmd + I to invert colors on the mask. Do you understand this concept? Adjustment will be visible only where you have white color on your mask (or shades of grey). Create adjustment layer and move slider then paint on the layer mask. At any time you can double click on sun icon (in this case) in the Layers panel to bring properties for Brightness/Contrast adjustment (in this case) or any other applied adjustment. To refine/change mask and what is affected just select mask in the Layers panel and Brush tool from the Toolbox then paint with either black or white color. After creating adjustment you will (probably) see white layer mask next to adjustment icon. Click on layer mask thumbnail then press Ctrl/Cmd + I to invert the mask. Select Brush tool then paint with white on layer mask where you want the adjustment to be visible.

The marker is in the wrong place. After recording action click on the marked place on the left side of Silver Efex Pro 2 step or any other like Viveza 2. I do not have Nik plugins to check but it should work just fine as already explained.

In Photoshop CC 2019, command Select > Color Range works as expected on Win 10 machine. I do not see anything strange. Can you describe steps and post screenshot with dialog and Layers panel visible?

Just to add: If you have extra pixels outside of canvas then you must edit Smart Object content to delete extra pixels because you can not delete pixels on Smart Object layer. From the scenario described above you probably need to select mask then to press Ctrl/Cmd + I to invert mask. I believe you are painting with black color on white mask where you want to apply adjustment. In that case just invert mask then bring up dialog to adjust settings.

As I said in the previous reply: delete "Set Brushes of current application" steps. Create one brush set and deliver brushes to end users (you can also rename brushes by the way if you are wondering or you have some doubts). Inform users to load set which contains brushes which are required for action to deliver expected result. You are done. Many developers are doing the exactly same thing: they are delivering separate sets with brushes, patterns, gradients and so on and informing users to load required presets before playing action. Re-record action. To ensure that action will play properly on any computer you can ask users to load some brushes which you can provide them along with action. There is option to record step "Read me!" or to insert stop at the beginning of action which will inform the user that some specific brush should be loaded/present.

If you mean how to create reflections when you have only shot of couple as we see them (without mirrors in scene and reflections) then your task is mission impossible. You must have two additional shots with a baby in hands in order to add mirrors in your composition with the reflection of the couple. Another option is to capture a couple twice in the same room (same scene) with the difference that in the second shot couple has a baby. Position one image on top of another then mask couple with a baby on the top image so you can see a couple without a baby in the image below. Edit: I must add additional $0.02. You can capture couple with a baby and immediately after that without a baby with stomach if you have arrived too late. It is not difficult to simulate pregnancy because only imagination tells us that woman was pregnant in a moment when image is captured.

We need more details. Was your actions in default folder (actions available from the Actions panel menu drop-down list) or somewhere else? If your actions were in any folder on your computer and you cannot remember where exactly then chances to help you are really small.

Here are my answers to both questions: 1 It is not bug nor Windows mistake. If you switch input language then you'll have a problem with keyboard shortcuts. 2 I do not have such problems on Win 10, everything works just fine with deselect and hide. What you mean by Selection panel? Edit: sorry, I missed the version of your software. For the matter of fact, you are mentioning a couple of versions if not all in the last 15 years. Answer 1 is still valid, different keyboard input should result in a problem.
