Hello there. I'm a very avid Brackets user, but would like to try the new Dreamweaver. But i have a very specific set of extensions on Brackets that i really really love. Some of them are already integrated in Dreamweaver, but some of them are not. Is it possible, or will it be possible to install Brackets extensions? They use the same backbone so it should be right? Thank you

Hello. What i ended doing was to delete all my files in my computer, allow the CC app to delete them in the server, go to the CC server archive and recover them all. After that my computer would start to download all my files from the CC server. After a couple of hours I was done since downloading is a lot faster than uploadinag.

Hello there. Today i updated my Creative Cloud App and after that it's trying to re-sync almost 300 files that were already synced... The thing is, i have a very bad Internet (DSL), and it's saying that it will take 40'ish hours to sync.... And meanwhile my Internet becomes unusable. So, why is it trying to re-sync? Can i stop that? The files are already there. Thank you!

@oMikeo1234 That's completely random and makes no sense at all… It depends from country to country. Probably someone in Germany can, easily pay a year of CC subscription in X days, but someone is Portugal or Greece will only do it in X+Y days. About your 2 or 3 days period to pay one year of CC… Yea right… 600€ - 700€ (without taxes) in 2 days? That's almost 8k € per month, and working only 22 days… If you include Saturdays, as many do, thats more than 9k€ a month. Not many can do that… As i previously said, it's perfectly doable to pay the CC subscription. The monthly fee are just a few hours of work in a month. But the problem is not that, the problem is the different prices just because Adobe wants them. There is no explanation on why we pay a lot more. That's the problem!

So, anyone? I tried the live chat but the guy told me that i had to get my help here... 😕 Another info that i forgot to mention, it only happens with Creative Cloud. I have a web server and moving files to the server, be it by the browser or FTP works as always. I really could use help because it's slowing a bit my workflow. Thank you.

Hello there. So, recently i moved and in the new house i had to change from Fiber to ADSL. I went from 100Mb-10Mb (down-up) to 24Mb-1Mb, so speeds are a lot slower. Since the move, i'm unable to sync large files (as in bigger than 80-100MB). The sync starts normally, but always, after X% the sync fails. If I do it via the app, i get a "Unable to sync [file name]" error and no other message. If i do it via the browser, i get no error whatsoever. I never had any problem before with Fiber, so i wonder if is there any timeout in place or something like that, or any other thing i'm not aware of? The upload speed is slow, but steady. I'm on Mac Os X Mountain Lion (10.8.5). Thank you in advance.

Problem solved! Mister Ken G. Rice was awesome and fixed the problem. As he explained there were some metadata problems that were making my files invisible.

I contacted Adobe by phone today, and the person who helped me, said that the files disappearing was probably a glitch on the server, and the space that was still occupied was still occupied because of some problem Adobe was trying to fix. But in my account details in their side it says that i have all my space free. He also said that he was escalating my situation to his supervision and that they would contact me soon. So... Lets wait and see...

Well.. I don't mind about the files, i've back ups of them... It's annoying to recover all files and all, but oh well... My main problem is that if this keeps happening (the problems are the links sent to customers that disappear) and specially the space that remains occupied... I mean, at this moment i have 0 files (both in the normal account and on the archive) and yet, i have 8.5 gb occupied... 😕

So... I wake up my computer from sleep, and i get a warning that CC application was unable to sync 5 files (old ones) due to a server error... I found that strange since they were old files and i opened my local CC folder... And... It was empty... I went to the online CC account and there were only 5 files there (the ones that were mentioned on the error. The space used is still the same as if the files were there... But... What is happening?!

Damir, i just deleted everything, plugins included, re-installed and it started to work.... But, as others said, you have to choose a resample method and set it to cm's or some measurement like that.

Adobe empire is not collapsing anytime soon... Even if they lose like 25-30% of their old costumers due to the subscription plans, they will still dominate everything on a massive scale on their fields. And in the way, they get those 20-30% back in new costumers that couldn't afford the previous perpetual prices. Despite of prices differences, to simply put, Adobe will reign because of a) there is no real competition around (nope, GIMP and the rest are not really competition because most of them are not ready to be used in a professional level) b) like Adobe prices decisions or not, Adobe has the best tools in lots of their fields. Some of their products are great, they innovate and lots of times they push the state of the art foward. I don't like the price differences, and i think that's a greedy move from Adobe, but also i cannot afford to not use the Adobe tools i need. And i won't be loosing massive amounts of time learning new tools that are subpar when compared to the Adobe counterparts.

Yes, nothing happens. The document remains the same and the size of it (as in mb's) also remains the same. You know that Zoom in or Zoom out you get in CS6 when changing a document resolution? Nothing here... The document remains exactly the same when changing resolution, be it increasing or decreasing, be it with any type of resampling modes available, be it with the Height and width set to any measure unit. It simply doesn't work. Plus, i have no ideia on what resolution i am working when i create a new document since they all are the same size, which is a pain to work with in some projects.

It makes no difference mate. The only thing that changes the document in that window, is if you change the size of the document directly in the height and width. If you change it in the resolution it does nothing. In fact, when creating a new document, i'm not even sure if i'm creating a 300 or a 72 ppi document, independently of what i set in the resolution option. From the size of the document (the size as in MB or kb), i'm starting to believe that photoshop is always working in low PPI settings.

The Fit to part changes to custom as soon as you change the PPI or the height and witdh of the document. I'm uploading a video at this moment, I'll post it in a moment.

ssprengel, changing ppi changes nothing in the document. If i create a 300 ppi file, save it to jpeg or whatever, then resize that to 72 ppi and save in another document, and then if i import both of them into a new document, they are precisily the same size. Charles, i've tried with every resample choice there... Nothing makes the document to move..

Hello PECourtejoie. This problem happens with any document size. It doesn't matter if the document is 1000x1000 or anything else. For example, if i have a 1000x1000 document with 300ppi's and reduce that for lets say 72, the size of the document remains the same. It logs in the history that there was a size change, but the pixel count and the weight of the document remain untouched. i'll make a vÃdeo in a few moments displaying this.

It doesn't change anything. It doesn't change the image nor the zoom. Plus I created 2 new documents, one with 300 the other with 72. They have precisely the same size, be it in pixels, be it in MB... Hummm... I'm missing something. 😕
