/CFIDE is blocked from IIS/Apache from update 8 due to security reasons. So you need to connect the IDE with ColdFusion internal port for debugging.

@TechieGirl It seems like you need to run the command prompt as Administrator. Try to open as Admin and then run the command cfstart.bat and it will start the server.

If you are using remote server debugging then use the "Add current" and it will add your machine IP address and it will show the debugging info.
Also, enable debugging in CF Admin so you can see what debugging info you are looking for.

Hi All,
We are currently debugging the issue at our end and hopefully provide a solution soon that will restore the logging functionally back to normal. Just to let you know, it is not impacting all the users but there are some where we heard this. Unfortunately, we are not able to replicate the issue in our environment and which is why it is taking time to resolve this quickly.

@Manoj36229141q88d You can go to ColdFusion2023\cfusion\bin take the backup of the ColdFusion script file and then open it. You can find the Runtime_user which you can change, save and try to start CF.

if you are moving to CF2021/CF2023, then Tomcat 8.x won't work as it is not the supported version. You need to at least move to Tomcat 9.x. If you are using J2EE deployment then we don't provide isapi_redirect.dll from our side. You have to download the DLL from Apache website. You can also check the compatibility in Apache's website.

@chayan1313 Thanks, once the underlying Tomcat is upgraded to Tomcat 10, then support for Tomcat 10 as an external Application server will be available. Until then, you can use the latest version of Tomcat 9.0.x to run your Application Server.

Tomcat 10 is not a supported Application Server for ColdFusion 2023. You can use Tomcat 9.0.72 and later. Please check the support matrix

However, please ensure that you don't run the wsconfig(connector) with your webserver(IIS/Apache) before removing the connector for CF11. We cannot run the same website from two different CF versions on the same server.
