I am glad to see you made some progress in the right direction - and yes the global effects mute has tripped up probably everyone...  maybe even twice....   You can film in log with your iphone, if you get external storage thats fast enough and connect it to the USB on the phone if you want more controll of the color, and higher frame rates etc.  Its not "cheap" but you can add a SSD drive,  nice thing about using external storage is you can copy it over to work on way faster too.   Its not required, but if max control is what you are after you can consider it. I am not sure what exactly your end target state is, but try this, and see if it moves you closer;   When you create your sequence, or after, chance sequence settings to "rec709".  This assumes you want your final output to be in rec709 (aka youtube or any Target that doesn't support HDR playback.  This preset will change the color output space to rec709 and the working color space to rec709.   If you editing monitor both supports and is setup correct, you can leave the working color space at HDR (or a variant like HLG etc).  Adobe now will properly convert a clip to appear proper on the timeline, and output even if they are different.   I don't bother making any changes in the lumetri settings after I make that one change, its the only change I have ever needed to make to get color space to work properly (assume you are on on the latest version of PP, this didn't work on older versions).   As a side note the timeline clips apparently do not currently work with the color space, only the source and program windows will show proper color space.   These are the settings that I have when I set the timeline to Rec709:     The preferences for color management I have are:     There might be something minor I am not reading in your original post that I am overlooking,  but I figured having an sample of what works maybe makes its possible for your confirm it matches, and then someone else can maybe add more to help you.   It would however be ideal if you can tell us what the outcome your looking for?  I assumed it was to take iphone HLG2100 clips, and edit in a rec709 workspace and output in rec709 also.    What you described, seems like you have the settings right, but the description of color shift to pink etc seems very wrong - almost like you might be using a HDR display with incorrect HDR setup, but that's a guess on my part. ... try testing only after all those progress bars are completed, and/or turn off the media analysis in the preferances (in your screen shot)....  those background process might be contributing.   Also;  upgrade your video driver, since you opened this post, a new driver I belive was published, and make sure your on 25.3 version of premier pro too....  I noticed you are exporting in 23.97 FPS, and there is a very specific fix in version 25.3 of premier for exporting what it says is 23.98 FPS - not sure if there is a typo, but I would upgrade and restest after you update the studio driver to 576.80 June 17, 2025 version.     ... @Cuuuday I would check your version, 25.3 has only been out for a few days, and it was not universally available at the same time for everyone...  25.3 is where PP has support for that GPU design more specifically, that may assist you.  It should only take a min to check the version your on, and the GPU driver too.   As a side note there have been issues with some of the 5000 series GPU's - adefective GPU with a lower than expected Render Output Processor (ROP),  you can use GPUz to see if you are effected, however this is likely not why you are crashing (it should only lower performance), but maybe worth a check in case you have the defect and need to order a replacement card. ... As a side note;  Your system memory at 32GB is usable, but honestly a bit too low, really should be 64GB.  whith 6GB reserved for other apps, that doesn't leave you much to work with for Premier, and you probably have chrome running in the background or other apps too.     You can see a spike in the SSD drive usage, I think that memory/disk swap file activity, then it drops down, but even at 9% SSD utilization is kind of high for a SSD, I don't think I have never broken like 3% for a second or two when using premier if/when not reading and writing to the same drive (using M2 drives, I cant tell if you have SATA SSD or M2) but I can see you are using raid drivers for mechanical drives I assume.   to be clear I dont know if the latest updates are usign more memory, and this pushed your config to the edge of the memory you need or not, nor am I saying you need to/must do this to troubleshute, just wanted you to be aware and if you had a easy way to increase the memory, it would at least rule that out  - but I know that may not be possible for everyone.   I don't think you should run out and get more memory right now until we get a better idea, but at some point when it makes sense financially, and its affordable moving to at least 64GB should give you some better performance.   And another note,  do all your windows updates if not already,  there have been lots of under the hood changes and the many small updates have had some positive effects if your at the latest versions. ... Your GPU is for sure doing some work based on the task manager you posted; and the 3060 is still supported.  The decode seems to be at near 100% so its doing work;  the 3D resources are running near 100% also; so that GPU is doing some work, and so is your CPU...   Just wondering,  when you imported did you check to see if some of the new features were on, such as the new enhanced visual search and auto transcribe video and if those are running in the background?   You can check to see what background tasks premier is doing in this dialogue:   when you open it it will show a list like this:   Based on that task manager you uploaded, the CPU, and GPU are both doing something, so you will need to figure out what.  Your driver appears to be the studio driver based on what I see on your task manager driver version.   You noted that the machine is taking longer to generate peak files, this could very well be because its doing the background tasks such as preparing the visual search, and you maybe have to wait out the process to be done, or turn them off if your note using them in preferences.   Check this preferences section:   Interested too see what you find after reviewing this.  I am not sure what to look at next if its not the background processing running, that system task amanger shows its doign soemthing and its pretty busy.   ALSO; Please confirm do you have ANY effects on the media?  some effects can cause it to not be responsive until after you render it/render replace.   It would be ideal to confirm if and what effects you have applied to the media clips also.   ... @Albo Gravity  if you have done the DDU, and the problem persists, and the same projects work on other machines.  It starts to lean towards something local to that machine, here are some other ideas to try.   Have you reset the driver and plug in cache?  (apologies if this is a basic question and you have done it already). Reset preferences I believe you will want ot try Shift: Reset plugin loading cache   You can also try and see if the problem persists with plug in disabled: Cmd or Ctrl + 3: Disable third-party video plugins   Short term, try resetting the cache for both premier and the plugin's.  if that doesn't improve, try loading premier with plug in disabled, and see what happens.  Also, look for updates to the plug ins you have, as maybe they are needed for Film impacts, I went to there site, and its not easy to find anything for version or updates, but when I download the free trial it says its version 25.2.6 if that helps;  they have no dates, but I'm sure there is a way to identify the installed version and update if needed. ... The first thing I would do is see if PP 25.3 update is available to you;  second, do a proper remove of all your nVidia drivers, you cant use the clean install selection within the driver installer, its not really a true clean install;  I just posted this for someone else a few min ago;  use this tool (or one like it that you prefer): Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) download version 18.1.1.4   then install the STUDIO driver, I'm sure you already knew this, but thought it worth a mention as when you clean the old driver out with that tool; the driver installer defaults to game ready, and you have to select studio driver again.   I also had a similar issue to you for the playback;  I have not tried 25.3 yet to see if it solves my issue, but it had something to do with premier making what I think was an error in decoding the frame rates, but a manual override of the frame rate solved my issue (I will test 25.3 shortly and see if the problem is solved for me)   The best practice when swapping GPU's especially AMD to nVidia is to do that video driver sanitizing process noted.   As for OpenCL,  I would never use that unless there is some specific plug in you use enough to warrant it - CUDA works great, if memory serves me correct OpenCL gets translated into Cuda by the driver, and the new GPU's have so much power you really don't suffer running with Cuda mode... for this sort of tasks enough to worry about it.   I also have a suspicion that the new blackwell GPU's need the updates in PP 25.3 to work to there full effect, from my occasional trips into the beta forum (but reserve the right to be corrected with someone who follows it closer).   I suspect 25.3 will help you, and a clean driver install as described above will help narrow the issues down for you.   I hope to hear back one of these suggested solve it for you.   ... So first, you didnt note what GPU you have,  some GPU's get droped for support,  not sure what GPU you have, but first make sure that the installed version of premier still has support for that GPU (and its the latest STUDIO driver)...  Then....   Please confirm your Nvidia driver version, you should be using the Studio driver (NOT GAME READY), latest version as of 5 min ago is 576.52 from May 19, 2025.   Also; please confirm that your memory settings for Premier leaves some memory for other apps to use; such as:     You can also do a CLEAN install for the driver for nvidia;  this tool should work; Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) download version 18.1.1.4   You can re-install the Studio driver after the tool above does its job (reinstalling a driver with nvidia doesnt really clean install it)   Also; it appears that version PP 25.3 was released today for some people, but there is no change log (yet) - if that update is available for you, it may also correct your issue.   If it was me, I would: -check the memory allocation preference to ensure it has not been modified, move it up MB, and save -update premier to 25.3 Build 84 if thats available to you now; -TEST -use the driver remove tool link above, -install the STUDIO driver only, not the game ready driver. -TEST   If its not fixed, repost here, well if fixed also repost 🙂   This should be enough to get you started while others have a chance to look at your post.     ... I don't mind either way,  I'm still looking for a solution, got close, but really hoping someone knows what that last missing piece is to complete this puzzle and allow for the metadata to be displayed on the screen....  I have 1000's of videos where I could use this, clips that's  a few min long and this would be  huge time saver.   Maybe it makes sense to have it as a feature request, as this would be very handy to have the GPS data pulled and turn into text within premier.   IT would benefit the visual search tool also; like if I want all the clips from Korea, for example...  half the time I don't know the names of all the "places" (aka how to spell them properly etc) so this could help if it was an enhancement to visual search (I could see the metadata, and know how to to search fro the right terms).   I leave the decision to your judgement.   ... I made some process,  turns out the EXIF Data that exif tool creates is pushed into the Adobe Photoshop fields:   This is now how it appears:   and here is the metadata flags to enable so its visable for it:   The Metadata burn effect still cant select this data to overlay into the video, so working on a solutiuon for that currently, or hopefully someone points me another direction to make this easier to get the overlays to work.   ... I think I was able to use the EXIFTOOL to read, and apply metadata back into the file that gives the friendly text based name;  but it doesnt show up in premier.   Command I ran was: for /R . %f in (*.mov) do exiftool -overwrite_original -geolocate^<gpsposition "%f" It seems to add the follow data at the bottom of this screen shot: Oriignal data for the same file, doesnt have it:   Premier metadata fields dont seem to line up with this field to be displayed in premier, and thus metadata overlay fetaure has no chance of helping me (still looking for 3rd party tool that doesn all this within premier would be idea).
