Per thanks, helps. Julianne's artile is good though may have to re-read it a few times. Before dehaze, what would you do? Make a mask to darken the sky and leave foreground alone? Texture/ Clairy still confusing, but here article will probably help a bit.

Thanks: double clicking the image did not do anything. Enter key does not do anything. E key key does not do anything. Dont' see edit icon.. but sure hidden somewhere real well. Anyone else?

I tired with clp and straighten ok (albie a grid come on did not ask for), but alas had to give up as see no way to accept it and get back into the basic tabs. Maybe hidden , how to click ok?

The one that impresses me the most is dehaze. It's almost like it makes a mask for you on the fly and darkens the background, get the clouds visible etc.. amazing too… when was the invented, and how do they do it? Kind of revolutionary no?
And texture is sort of sharpening? And clarity is…?

Jeff, thank will mark as solved, though.... did excactly that quit open, and then changing tool intially, made a delete layer! ugh.. but then is seems to be fine after that. HOpe sticks. Remember this spring loaded from year ago, to uncheck that, but PS annihilated all my settings/ preference last month. I did restore some things but I guess that was not included. Very buggy software, and I can't even guess what spring loaded... well, know it from Mac fodlers , but PS tools? seriously, who gets paid to do this?

Notice this bug for year or two on laptop, but now on my desktop too. You use keyboard shortcut for tools, clone, or crop etc. and instead of working and switching to that tool, is stays put or worse, does something else. Right now I click S, for clone, and it does instead a delete layer mask. Hair pulling stuff, any ideas and yes i have lastest of PS 2023, sadly.

Kevin, thanks, can you please be more clear on what to do in PS and then Wacom?.. I little worn out, sorry, as had 6 back and forth emails with Wacam and still not at first base. This sounds promising, but still don't have a clue what to do... maybe you can do some bullet points or someone else can help.

Using Wacom pen, anyway to right click the pen and get PS opcacity active for say, Clone tool? (Wacom, not know),, right click just het stuff for pen hardness, would be wonderful, not to have to point the pen tediously up to opacity slide in PS.

Erik, yes great, got confusing as close opend image again, and was gone. Appears, always go back to previous version without the dehaze close out? Can't remember? Where see process version? I only saw small exclamation (not yellow) Anyway to get this permanent for this image or all in future?

Eirk whew! Bless you. That explains it well. Ok just reopened the image without the dehaze option, but don't see the xclamation mark in the bottom right corner of the image window. Hover over this and you will see "Update to Current Process (Version 5)". Did I miss it? there is an exclamation, not yellow and when click on that, just seems to apply some changes, I think, not solve update process Then even that goes away, still same/ stuck, no yellow one

and that is tied to images? I would think PS would do better to have it all consistent, ie all images would see all possibilites, dehaze etc.

Thanks I have no idea whta the issue was. One image was taken about 8 years ago, and most others, I'm seeing Dehaze, maybe from another camera? Not familar with what PV is.

Thanks Andrew, every image has a process version? I have idea where to check that; but I'll take your word that some imamges Raw will get a differnt menu choice than other raws.. had no idea.

I opend/ retouched a couple of images -- used dehaze.. ACR 15.2 And then I opened another image, also says 15.2, and no dehaze.. Curious on that, thanks.

Jane, yes know hidden, but (side tagent, not even looked for my lost workspace yet in TM, but I will tonight), What I'm saying is your screenshot is one I believe/ trust, while ADobe link, says app dat roaming which I do not find anywhere, even drilling down into libary no app data, romaing, so that wierd no? app data/ romaing? never heard of it, and cant find that anywhere, yet Adobe put that on their link, Confusing that ADobe does that?

Thanks Jane/ Myra, ok going to read all this stuff over a few days. search in TM ect. . Look at global Adobe preferences. That said, just glancing now see this, "Customized preferences and settings are migrated to the latest version of the app." So implies default it to carry all that stuff over? Should never happen even once to anyone, so fact happeing is a glaring flaw with Adibe IMO. Just

Thanks Myra , Jane. Here is what I'm seeing: I'm on PS 2023 - mac Before there was one called Larry, which had the workspace that I have tweaked over the years. Seems to be gone all of the sudden. Never see that happen before. (recently I've deleted past versions of PS, ie 2022, 2019 and preferences to those versions, but if have any idea what search for on my hardrive, let me know , thanks!)

Nancy thanks, turn out, I got someone on the Adobe DW team on phone, India, and find and replace works good, but even then you have to put in the Href code, would have never thought of that. He also said the link sitewide, works, but you have to have servers set up.

I used to use this feature years ago, but rusty, but went to: this box below. I typed (pasted in) looks perfect, but does not work, I click ok and nothing happens. Used to work perfect. I have nothing more to add. I put perfect url into top field, the new link I want to change to bottom, I click ok, nothing happens. Used to work perfect.
