Hello Silkrooster, This is a tough one - if it is doable at all. It might take a serious makeover. The usual tools aren't too great. I lightened the photo print a bit and then took it into Raw Filter. Using all the wonderful sliders there - see how much white you can clear and not oversaturate the building's white highlight areas. Once you get the picture sharp enough, you can go to Curves, or filters, or the highlight tools along with the rubbing finger - use a light touch. I even laid in a Gradient or two in specific difficult areas. So, experimentation is good. You might stumble upon something quite wonderful. Please share if you do. Best wishes, JH ... View more

MarieMeyer, If you follow the first instructions you will see that the copy and pasting of part of your picture you want to apply the filter to, will be isolated on that layer. Smart or not does not matter. Just go to the filter you want and apply to the selection/layer. Then join layers and see what you have. Try it a few times and you will actually enjoy it. Make a copy and size it to 5X7 @ 350 Pixs save at least two and then take one into Photoshop to fix the areas you would like changed. Sharpening areas and taking out dark lines is not so hard. Hi anmolp45594874, This photo is not in bad condition. Do you have Photoshop and use it? In Photoshop it will be fairly easy to work with this and touch up a few areas. So, tell us about what you want to do and we will send our ideas of how to do it.
