Thanks, that will definitely fix it. But I am having problems with pre-comp. I have a 2.25 minute clip but precomposing the rotobrush layer is taking hours. I did the actual render of the layer, which is the solution, and it took about an hour.. Any idea why precompose is taking so long? And is there anything I can do to track the progress of a precomposition?

This is a strange problem. I want to isolate and track a ball then apply an echo. I isolate first then add echo. When I add the echo with a negative time value the ball loses its rotobrush isolation and the and the echo is applied to the entire layer. Strangely when I add a positive value the echo works on the isolated area as expected. Of course I want the echo trail to follow the ball not precede it. Any ideas why this is happening and any other possible ways to acheive this? Thanks

There was a small symbol in the AI file that was RGB. The confusion was that it would throw the error when I added the CMYK PSD file. Even though the AI file was the right profile and the placed file was the right profile, there was nothing to indicate the problem was with another element on the page

I have a CMYK photo I have saved in Photoshop. I have a CMYK Illustrator file. My colour settings are syncronised. When I place my CMYK photo into my CMYK Illustrator file it always comes up with "The document has an embedded color profile that does not match the current RGB working space". Both files are CMYK Why is it doing this?

1. I spent about an hour on a project
2. I stopped and went back to the gallery
3. Fresco told me I had to sign in again
4. I have Adobe Account Access and checked my device
5. Account Access did not work
6. I had to check my email for a code.
7. It had not arrived after 5 min. So I sent a new request.
8. It eventually arrived and when I entered it it said invalid code.
9. So I requested another. This process repeated several times until I was locked out.
10. Then another code arrived! So you can see what has been happening.
11. I shut down, restarted everything, waited and started the process all over.
12. This time Adobe Account Access worked.
13. So I went to the gallery AND THE PROJECT I HAD SPENT OVER AN HOUR CREATING DID NOT LOAD INTO THE GALLERY. Add to this the time I wasted trying to sign back in. That is almost two hours of my life I will never get back, and a creative project I will never be able to repeat.
14. SO I WILL NEVER TRUST FRESCO AGAIN.

I have submitted this as a bug, I hope there is a fix. Otherwise I will probably need to use Affinity for anything that requires a tablet. I would prefer to be using Illustrator. Does anybody else own a Kamvas 22 and experience these problems?

Hello Anubhav, Thanks for your response. However that workaround relates to a Huion HS611 (mine is a Kamvas 22) and MacOS (mine is Windows - sorry I didn't include these details) and Illustrator v25.x (as I said this problem only relates to AI v26.x, I pointed out that it is not a problem in 2021, 0nly 2022) To clarify: the OS is MS Windows 11 Pro 21H2; Huion Firmware: M19t_200716; Huion Driver: v15.6.2.80 The problem occurs only in Illustrator 2022, not 2021. And the problem is not present in any other apps including Photoshop and painting apps. In other words it is specific to Illustrator 2022. I have already tried resetting the preferences and reinstalling Illustrator btw.

Lag and pressure issues with Huion Kamvas 22 tablet only occur in AI 2022. AI 2021 performs totally fine, as in all other apps including several painting apps. There is no other instance where it is not working properly. In the colour sliders when I click and drag a slider handle, first nothing appears to happen then it suddenly jumps to where the stylus is. If I click on the slider bar, the handle will jump there immediately as expected. It is just the click and drag which is not responding as it should. This happens with all slider controls in palettes. The lag also occurs in other places. For example an Astute plugin, Dynamic Sketch, also has problems with lag when drawing and lack of pressure sensitivity. These issues are also not present in Illustrator 2021 while using this plugin. The problem occurs only in Illustrator 2022, and the problem is not present in any other apps including Photoshop and painting apps. In other words it is specific to Illustrator 2022. I have already tried resetting the preferences and reinstalling Illustrator btw. Windows 11 Pro

Thank you Anshul, I have done all those things. Except "share the files". How? With who? And using different Adobe ID, because I only have one. And launch Fresco "as an administrator" isn't a menu option. It still starts, does "loading documents" then crashes

Also the same thing happens with Acrobat. Photoshop, other applications, viewers, etc all perform as they should with consistent colour on both monitors.

When I publish to YouTube I start by logging in Then I export, fine so far Then when I hit publish I'm locked out of YouTube! Happens every time. I have enabled Premier Rush through the firewall so that is not the problem btw

Thanks Ton. The problem is similar but the solution is not relevant here. "… looks "off" on the portion now starting to appear on the second screen, and when it's completely onto the second monitor, it changes to assume the display profile of that monitor". This happens with all items as I move them across from one screen to another, yes. But only Illustrator will change signifiantly when it is fully on the second monitor.

Only in Illustrator - colours change when I switch illustrator from my primary monitor to my secondary monitor. With both AI colour modes. RGB/CMYK makes no difference. The monitors are fully calibrated. All colours in all images opened outside of AI are exactly the same. Also no problem with Photoshop or other applications. Only AI. Colour profiles are syncronised in CC. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

This is happening to me too! It was working and then suddenly it wasn't. It goes through the pretence of "loading files" and then disappears. I have uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled. No difference. It had been working. Not any more.
