Upvoted. Keep in mind that you can still select ALL the clips on A1 by using the space at the end of the sequence. But the use case for me is that I want only some of the clips on a track. The "opportunity" was translation of captions. "Multiple Caption Tracks Enabled"   This is new functionality added as part of the caption translation feature. @Vaibhavi Jani's post here is the only announcement of it. It has been argued for by many users, and this feature alone will be a major advancement.   It changes some of the basic operation of caption tracks. For example, when creating more than one caption track, each new track is enabled by default. Previously, only the new track would be enabled.   When there is no selection of a caption in one of the caption tracks, "Multiple caption tracks enabled" appears in the Captions tab of the Text panel, with a new icon and message. (Screenshot at the end.) There are several keyboard shortcuts for working with Caption Tracks, and some will no longer operate as expected. For example, Activate next/previous caption track.   If a caption in any track is selected, the captions of that track appear in the Text Panel/Captions tab, and that caption appears in the Properties Panel. If you deselect all, the "multiple tracks" message returns.   As noted in the announcement, only one sidecar file can be exported at a time. If using the 3 dot menu to export srt, it appears to be the track showing in the captions tab, whether it is enabled or not. If nothing is selected (the "multiple tracks" message shows in the Captions tab), the export options are greyed out.   If you "export media" and pick burn in, it shows which tracks are being burned in, and these are any that are enabled. If you export and pick sidecar with only one enabled, it uses that track. If you have multiple tracks enabled, it uses the lowest numbered track that is enabled (e.g. C2 over C3). If no tracks are enabled, as expected, Captions in the export settings is greyed out.   As noted in the announcement, you can apply a different style to each track. This means that you can position different tracks to differentiate speakers as well as translations. So you appear to have source media transcripts. To confirm, in the transcript tab, click the 3 dot menu. If it has an option for "Generate static transcript...," you have source media transcripts. If it has an option for "Generate text-based editing transcript...," you have a static/sequence transcript. In the latter case, you may also have source media transcripts. To "remove" the static transcript and return to source media/dynamic transcripts, select the "Generate text-based editing transcript" option.   There are multiple ways to transcribe source media. I think the method you are using should be fine.   In the screenshot below, the highlighted icon, as shown by the tooltip, is the sequence/timeline/Program Monitor view. The icon to the left is the Source Monitor view. With "Follow active monitor" checked (I prefer this), if you click in the timeline, you will be in Program Monitor/timeline view. You see the source media transcript of what remains of your clip after editing. And in this view, you can delete filler words and pauses. If you double-click on the clip, it opens in the Source Monitor, and when you switch to the Text panel/transcript tab, you will see that the left icon is highlighted, and it is in Source monitor view. You see the whole transcript of the clip. You should see any filler words/pauses that have been identified, and you can filter by them. But the delete button will never be active, because you cannot delete part of the file itself. There are plugins related to, for example, animating subtitles from the current PR subtitle workflow. I have not evaluated them. The ones I took quick looks at do not provide for keeping the speaker name. I suspect this is not trivial, since they are relying on a caption track, which does not include the speaker name. Thanks, Rick.   First, text-based editing functions are not always intuitive and trouble-shooting can be confusing. This is what I believe about when we do and do not see filler words and options.   A static transcription of a sequence does NOT identify filler words, has Filler words unchecked and greyed out in the Transcript view options, and does not include Filler words as an option in the Text panel/transcript tab filter.   A source media transcription identifies filler words, you can show them or not using the Filler words toggle in the Transcript view options, includes Filler words as an option in the Text panel/transcript tab filter, and shows the delete button only if you are in Program monitor/sequence view.   If you filter by Filler words, whether there are any or not, the Filler words toggle is checked and greyed out in the Transcript view options.   The "view" determines what transcript you see. So always note whether you have "Follow active monitor" checked (bottom left of the Text panel/transcript tab), or manually select Program Monitor (static/sequence) vs Source Monitor (source media) transcript. You can transcribe only the sequence (static transcript), only the source media transcripts, or both. @Smushkan,   I get your results in your sample, in a 2 minute extended sample, and when I changed the export to prores, turned off match source and set to 25fps, and then turned off video.   If I import it to PR and drag to the new icon, I get a 29.97 sequence (that is a little too short).   If I create a 25fps sequence and add the export, it is correct.   As @MyerPj says, I'd look for a workaround.
