My experience has been this: I reinstalled InDesign CS6 about a year ago in an effort to convert some old PageMaker files. Even though I still had the serial number, the installation process would not recognize it as valid and put up complaints. I closed out of those complaints, and then the InDesign CS6 opened and ran anyway. Also, no Character Styles are turned on and active on the text that should only be influenced by your Paragraph Style? Hi Willi, Your suggestion about Bridge is a good suggestion. My typical work scenario frequently has me making minor adjustments to documents that get refreshed annually. Wherever the document refers to the current year needs to change throughout the text, and also in the metadata that describes that document.
