YouTube supports uploading WMV, AVI, MOV, and MPG file
formats as well as MPEG4. Is it possible to use Adobe Flash to
convert SWF files created in Captivate to one of the formats that
YouTube supports, and if so, are there instructions on how to do
that?

Thanks for your reply. I tried out putting the Captivate movie in FrameMaker before converting to PDF, and also tried your suggestion to put the movie in the PDF manually. I'm in agreement with you that your suggestion works better.

For anyone else who's experiencing this problem, I was able to get the Ctrl-9 keyboard shortcut to work in FrameMaker by hitting the Shift key 5 times. This I found out that this is a shortcut to turn Sticky Keys (an accessibility feature) on and off.

I use the Ctrl-9 shortcut to apply paragraph formats to paragraphs, and it is no longer working since I upgraded to FrameMaker 8. Is this a bug or has the shortcut changed?

However, I'm looking for information on how to integrate
Captivate version 3 movies into RoboHelp version 7 and into
FrameMaker version 8.

I hope that I am mistaken about this, but when doing spell
check in Captivate, if a misspelled word is found, and none of the
Suggestions in the list are correct, there appears to be no way to
type in the correct spelling within the dialog box -- is this
true?. I have to Close the Check Spelling dialog and edit the word
on the slide!

Let me first say that an LMS is not an option.
I'm using Windows XP Professional, and have created a project
in Captivate version 3 with Start and End Preferences, Project end
options set to Action: Send e-mail to.
In Reporting Preferences under the Quiz category, the
Reporting Level is set to Interactions and score. In Quiz Reporting
Preferences, Email is selected and Attachment is selected.
In Quiz Settings Preferences, Show score at end of quiz is
selected.
I published the file as SWF with Export HTML turned on the in
Publish dialog.
After opening the resulting HTML file in a browser, taking
the quiz and clicking the email button on the last slide of the
quiz, an email message appears with the correct TO email address,
and the correct Subject. However, there is no quiz results .ATT
file attached to the email.
I've checked every setting I can think of, and still can't
get a quiz result attachment in the email.
If anyone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was able to save the FrameMaker file as Word, and open the table in Word. The table lost all but it's most basic formatting. I was then able to copy and paste the table into PowerPoint. If there was a way for the table to keep it's FrameMaker formatting, this would be a great solution.

Rick,
You're correct that Slide duration in Preferences only
governs how long a Blank slide is. Record actions in real time
creates an animation rather than multiple slides. So it seems there
is no preference or automated way to speed up the slides. The best
I've been able to do is to set Project > Calculate Caption
Timing, then select all objects in the timeline and lessen the
total time of the slide.
