The reason you hear your voice 1-2 seconds after you talk is
because someone in your meeting has speakers on their computer and
has their mic turned on. So your voice comes out of the speakers,
then into their mic and back into your ears. Have the other people
in the room turn off their mics unless they are talking and that
should solve your problem.

If you add audio and video through PPT the audio and video
will be lost when you publish your presentation. Animations will
work after publishing but you need to use the audio editor or
synchronize audio tools to tell presenter when you want the
animations to happen on your slide. Slide transitions don't
translate and QuickTime movies don't tranlate because the are A) on
a local file path and Presenter plays by server rules and won't
look to local file paths and B) Presenter plays in the Flash player
and QT movies are not supported by Flash. If you have a QT movie
you can try using the import video tool and it should convert your
QT movie to a FLV which will be kept with the presentation and is
supported by the Flash Player.

If you want audio in your published presenter piece DO NOT
use the PPT insert media options. This creates a local file path
that will be lost when the presentation is published. PPTX files
will support inserted audio in the formats of PCM-WAV and MP3 only.
Use the insert audio tool in the Presenter menu to bring these
files into your presentation.

No there is not. The outlook add-in was not made by Adobe.
However, the add-in doesn't do much (other than create a meeting
request with the specified meeting room from your my meetings
folder). You could achieve the same thing by just copying and
pasting the URL for your meeting room in a meeting request in Lotus
Notes.

You can. You will need to make the participant a presenter or
give the participant enhanced participant rights to the camera
tool. They can then broadcast their video and you can record it.

syncing slide animations with videos is, well, challenging.
Now you know why. If the issue is a video buffering, put more
silence in the beginning of the audio for the slide so that the

The share pod has probably been left in Full Screen mode. You
enter the room as a participant, the share pod expands to full
scree, you have a big gray screen. Have the host give participants
the full screen option and you should get a button to bring the
share pod out of full screen mode.

You can monitor your concurrent meeting attendee usage as an
admin, Go to the Administration tab in your server, then select
reports, the view meeting reports and you will be able to see all
the active meetings and how many attendees are in meetings at a
given time. From there you can watch and see how the licenses are
being used.
How do you handle or deal with the problem? If all your
licenses are being used, then that is a good thing, People are
adopting your tool. The easiest solution is to purchase more
licenses. However you can use a calender tool and just tell people
that they need to reserve rooms just as if they are physical rooms.
There is no "plug-in calender" but you could use the built in
calendar in Connect, or just use outlook or lotus notes if you use
that.
As to the number of participants for each pod... there is no
licensing for that. The number of people that you can have on your
phone bridge is limited to the licensing of your phone bridge, not
connect. The licensing is for how many people can be in one or many
connect rooms at a given time, the pods are just part of the room.

It is the same view for you and the participants.
If you want them to have the "Host" view of the room, you
could always promote them to hosts, but that will probably lead to
a "too many chefs in the kitchen" scenario.

Yes, but you must give the participants either enhanced
participants rights to the Camera pod or promote them to a
Presenter
- The video appeared somewhat laggy, when I compared to
MegaMeeting, MegaMeeting's video appeared much smoother. Is there
something which provides higher resolution video? Or is the video I
have on there as good as it gets?
There is a slight lag with doing conferencing over the public
internet... it's not TV. Also, with Connect you are probably doing
many other things than just broadcasting a video, it all takes
bandwidth. Connect has been built to be bandwidth conscious, thus
as with anything on the internet, there is the trade off between
quality and utility. If you would like better quality video
RealEyes Connect, has a solution for licensed customers. Feel free

there are two ways to achieve synching with PPT animations,
through the "Synchronize Audio" tool or through the "Audio Editor"

PDF is not supported by the Flash Player, thus it cannot be
shared in the Share Pod. Go to your home page of your server, click
on "Getting Started", then download Flash Paper. This will allow
you to print to SWF (Just like you can print to PDF) and you can
share SWF files in your Share Pod.
You mentioned Keynote, so I should warn that Flash Paper is a
Windows only application.

You may try using Captivate, and doing a full motion
recording.
With the 30 day trial you can test and see if that works for
free. As a word of advice, use the Full Motion Recording option and
don't record a screen capture larger than 1024 X 768.

The way Presenter "streams" is it loads the first three
slides before playing. This would be the download at the beginning.
It then begins to load one slide behind the scenes every 3 seconds.
If there is a long initial wait time It is most likely
because they are putting a lot of stuff (video/audio) on those
first three slides. To speed up the load time reduce the size of
the first three slides.

After you log in select "Profile", then select "Profile"
(Next to Personal Options) again in the two options for your
profile. You will then see and option: Days back to view topics
for. Put 999 there and you should see more than 1 page of history.
