you need to turn on iCloud Photos and save it there... i am sure if you google sync photos iPhone it will give you exactly the steps needed. I created a folder called phonePhotos in iCloud and use it as access back and forth.

hi, to achive that effect in illustrator is doable to a point but will not be a click of a button solution. Especially if you have to apply it to many shapes. You can use the mesh tool, blends and creative cuts with feather applied.

Hi, you could most certainly use Illustrator to do this but it would take a lot longer than doing a very similar image using photoshop it all depends on your skill level and confidence in one particular program or the other.

Hi, careful attention needs to be made on how new mask the image, secondly create a solid colour layer set to multiply (red in this case), above that clip an adjustment layer to it (curves) and adjust for the dark and highlights. Go back to your solid colour layer, and adjust the blend if parameters, you will need to split the clip of the darks and highlights for the layer underneath. /G

that (the canvas) looks like your shift is being pressed while you are drawing. Try press and release the shift button and check your pen button presets too

you will have to cut the curve. How are you cutting it tho? You need to use the divide tool in the pathfinder panel. Draw a line or shape where you want the cut then ungroup and delete the section you dont want. /G

sorry to hear that, is it a MASSIVE file? Complex Brush perhaps, brushing under adjustment layers etc? Sometimes lag does occur depending on how much of the computing resources you need at the time. Also in your preferences how have you allocated performance resources? Try upping how much PS can use if you havent already. Have you got othere programs running in the BG?

if what you want to do is move/duplicate something you can use the lasso tool to create a selection to copy to a new layer or use the stamp tool painting on a new layer. Is that what you are trying to do or what exactly?

Hi, I am not sure if you are using the right tool for the job, The patch tool you are using is with the healing tools and is used as such and tries to "blend" the selection seamlessly hence the value slide.

okay, so... none of them are working? What have you tried so far? Have you got a good internet connection? Did you download everything as needed? Are they greyed out? Lets start with the Skin smoothing filter, if you have an image with a face open what doesnt work exactly?

if you expand appearance and use pathfinder modes you will be able to get what you are looking for, or fill the shapes, so many ways to do it depending how you start and what you want... is it this type of thing you are after:
