If you look though the forums you will see a lot of people do NOT agree with you. Adobe need to look at at the number of people who are NOT happy and not at a small number of regular posters on here who keep trying to force feed the rest of us a message that all is well Dreamweaver when it's been going in the wrong direction for years. I wanted to run both 2015 and 2017 Al, so in my spare time I can have a play with the 2017 version although not using 2017 for working purposes,  I still want to see if extensions still work as desired and discover what other mess the Adobe engineers have made in the 2017 release. Aside from all the glitches, the biggest disappoint for me is ripping out the existing code editor which was a sound feature that just needed tweaking. It's just another nail in the coffin for long-time DW users. Soon design view will be ripped out I'm guessing as it's never been updated, instead they added a crappy live view and since they removed design time style sheets from the UI I'm sure as sure as eggs are eggs they will in a future update rip out design view. Absolutely clueless!! Well here lies the problem, because I already changed the language to English (North American) in Adobe Cloud App preferences, removed Dreamweaver CC 2017 and manually tried to clean up DW 2017 remnants (registry and config folder). I would really, really like to know on who's say the Brackets rubbish was done. It is a massive waste of development time, the DW developers are going round in circles and removing familiar, very useful features we've been using for years which is brainless. If you put a group of experienced users of Dreamweaver, who use it every day on a professional level and  gave them a choice of the the existing code editor with a few improvements or a lame Brackets integration with loss of advanced code colouring and the very good find and replace, I can't believe users would go for the Brackets option. Yes I did read it,  but I don't want to manually copy extension files/folders each time I install an extension into the correct locale folder if that's what your suggesting .... And is this a DW 2017 specific bug? ...Because it isn't happened with my DW CC 2015 installation. ...My settings in Adobe Cloud app are set to English (North America), so I don't get why the en_GB folder is created when I install an extension. ... Ok here's what happens with DW CC 2017, if someone can tell me why it's happening and how to change this behaviour. When I install DW CC 2017 it creates en_US folder on first launch. When I try to install an extension for DW CC 2017 a second folder is created inside config en_GB and the extension is installed in there by the looks of things. I found locale options in cloud > preference. POssibly installed DW 2015 in en_US and later chnage the settings to English International. I'll try installing again with different setting ... View more

When I install via Adobe Cloud there are no languange/locale options offered during installation of Dreamweaver, however when I look in DW 2017 config folder I have both an en_US and en_GB folder so I'm assuming this is the issue. I don't see any option  to change this? ... View more
