Tried it again, logging out and back, but I did not get the same results. Trial Expired. Is it because the account is managed by a team? But the team has purchased the full cc account for everyone. I am trying to assess that LightRoom CC is not in the full CC package and you have to buy it separately. And if it is a part of the full package, why am i not having access to it? And are there any features that the classic does not have that I need it or is it just because it is mobile and has the storage space. if they are basically the same other then that, I am not going to worry about. This is taking me away from my work.

I did, and the most odd thing happened. As it was loading back up, installing the fonts from the fontkit, I clicked apps and Lightroom CC said up to date. I was excited that it was fixed. But as the CC notification came back and said you have 5 updates, I looked again, and the Lightroom CC now says trial expired, again. So why for the first few seconds is it apart of my CC then the next it is not?

Okay, so being frustrated again and a client sent me an indesign file. I have to use indesign. Opened the file, no go. So I opened ONYX (Titanium Software - OnyX) and deleted the Boot, Kernal and extensions, international preferences, cups jobs, qt components, audio components, and other system components CACHE. Restarted and now I can move things. But it does not last. So one of those is getting stuffed with a corrupt file or something.

HA!!! I think I am doing it. thanks for the image, i knew where to go. never thought of that. Ok downloaded, turned off GPU, redid settings, prefs, and such. still not working. it's ok. Thanks for trying. Adobe is not for everyone, there are other apps out there that work. I am using Davinci Resolve instead of Premiere now and been testing out other apps just like photoshop. Just really loved Indesign and the others, Illustrator is my last Adobe app I am using. Stopped using dreamweaver the beginning of the year due to issues with that one. Feels wrong spending all that money on the CC account to use one app.

huh.... thinking... I do remember premiere telling me once in awhile that a project was last opened using the GPU, but cannot do it now.... so I have to find out where it is to turn it on and/or off. AH!! NO GPU performance setting on Indesign 2015. So, no, not on.

happens to all indesign files. I did the prefs thing, cleaned the computer's cache using onyx, brought the files in as a new file, created a new file... It works for awhile, but after I work on it, close it, come back to it a few times, it is back to limited ability. And it is not just moving layers, I cannot move objects in the file, like a text element, it will not move from the location unless I use the arrow keys, the mouse does nothing. Shutting the app down does not work, turning off the computer works for a little bit, then it acts up. Now I do allot of stuff in indesign, so this is a new issue for me, and had no trouble before. Nothing new on the computer. Even had no issues running after effects, premiere pro, illustrator, and photoshop at the same time as indesign.

Alright, I am trying to stay calm, but this is just $)*&# STUPID!!! I had 2017.1 and opened an existing file I created (do not remember having any issues creating it) I wanted to change a headline and an image. Changed the headline and the image, but now I cannot move them anywhere in the project window. I have the "selection tool" and go to the object to move it. it does not move. Then I try to change the layers, move one object below the other and nothing happens. It selects it, but it does not move. yes, I selected the name not the box, yes everything is unlocked. I even uninstalled 2017 and when the 2015 version. same problem.

Or just remove the libraries altogether. Why have them if we cannot use them? I just do not understand why it works for one app and not the other? If it is showing up, then make it work, or just remove them. When I read the initial concept of the libraries it said "Share across all adobe apps." Just what I remember. How it was advertised or promised to us. Most of us do not just use our fonts, colors, files, and such in photoshop and illustrator, some of us also keep our branding in our videos and effects. Which means as I look at my library colors, I have to copy and paste the color into the color picker. So when I use an app that allows the color libraries, I am so used to copying and pasting, that I forget this app allows it and then I wonder, "what the heck is this library thing for anyway?" what a waste of time for everyone.

OKAY one more update. png still is horrible, but I figured out the svg. somewhere i read, and not easily found, that you have to use a vector effect on an object -- like a drop shadow or alpha (similar to soft light, overlay stuff, and so forth) svg is exporting fine now.

just took the ai file and opened it in photoshop exported it out as svg, worked, not seeing it on the web though. exported it out as a png and far superior to the illustrator export. What I am understanding is illustrator is only for small under a megabyte files?

I am exporting 1900 x 425 images that I have created using images, text, and such. They look clear, crisp, and awesome in the viewer. On export (png) they are grainy, horrible, and there are lines going through the image that are not there in the original. I have the settings for png export to the max as allowed in the new save for screens (which lacks so much from the save for web export). Exporting it to a pdf is a little better (no lines), but I cannot use pdf for an image on a website. The svg export, i guess the file is way too big for that - exported files this size before as svg's (I am looking at them now) with the same amount of content in the image. In fact just tried to export one of them again as svg, and it shows an error. So illustrator update since I have exported them before is not a good one, which one, not sure. I am dissatisfied with the export quality from illustrator -- not sure when the ickiness happened, but at some point it was decent. I like(d) using illustrator over photoshop, as I felt the app was a bit more professional in quality. it does not feel that way now. Is anyone else displeased with the export from illustrator?

I am not sharing anything with anyone other than libraries. It is not just one file it is any file that I save into the cloud. Noone else here is using the cloud folder to save files too. And No Errors Today!!! I am only using this when exporting for screens. Save As and Export As go to computer. - gerald

David, thanks for the reply. I have been looking all over to find what you are talking about, I do not see the collaborate tab. and I just figured out why. I do not have any folders with files to share. I am sharing libraries, but no one is adding anything to them, just using them. I just created a test folder and now I see the drop down and get the same submenu I see above. So, no, I am not sharing anything with anyone.

This issue is back again. started today, I do not have time to figure it out, i have work to do. Been using this without problems since the last fix. What is annoying is the message pops up while i am working and have deleted that file. I understand there are issues now and then and things (nothing) works like it is expected too or without problems, but I thinkI am just going to export to desktop from now on and avoid any future problems. As much as Adobe does, we love, but I think at times they spread themselves a little thin. Instead of a few awesome, always working features that we expect them to work, we get lots of "not sure if it is going to work and are joyous when it does this time."
