Live with it until Octber. None knows the release date. Sad but true,AE CC is unusable on some computers and as time goes by i'm frustrated about it. I've updated my pc,changed the hard drives,formatted everything,add more ram but the "performance upgrade" claimed from Adobe is a pure lie. Hope that the new version is been tested and that new bugs are not in the way...The Foundry has retired their Nuke update because there were some bugs and in a week they have resolved their mistakes with almost no pain for users. That was the right way to do thing... We are here,waiting for a solution and paying the subscription with absolutely no support and effort from Adobe. They have to take care of their costumers,but at this moment,we have learned of the new update from others and not from Adobe itself. This is the worst communication marketing that i have ever seen. Users are paying people for Adobe. Todd is the only man on Earth that take care of us. God bless him! ...その他を表示

I was hoping that it will be released on the 1st of September! We are still waiting...even with my new system configuration (fresh system installation),an SSD for the system (Intel dcs-3500),another SSD for AE cache (dcs-3500 too) and new 12GB of ram (24GB) AE CC is still unusable... Three months of subscription are gone...maybe we need a reply with a real release date...just to be clear... Todd,you know that is not a controversy against you! You're the only voice from Adobe that is speak to us,and i really appreciate this. The fact is that now time to understand and resolve the issue is gone,and i need to work smoothly with Dynamic Link and AE CC. I can't render everytime from Premiere and open files in AE CC. This is a time consuming process that is not worth the money i'm investing in this new CC. I have to do night work to get in time with deadlines and is not a professional way to go! This is a not new discourse,we have been patience and collaborative,but now is time for Adobe to resolve this problem. Hallo to everyone! Today i've got back my laptop with a new HD (my second machine with Win 7 Pro SP1). Is a fast SSD disc. I've installed after a fresh format all the CC software that i need. AE too of course. Well...the problem is present. So we can definitely say that is not an SSD problem. Please Todd let us know every step and discovery, so we don't feel abandoned! Well,i hope that what Sasha thinks is right and that the problem is real simple to solve...but...if the SSD is out of the way,for me it means that what Adobe have discovered is not the solution. Who knows! Rick,i agree with you. I spend my working day on my laptop with internet connection and on my workstation,waiting for renders and doing my job. But i have to agree with Kutny,because i have a lot of friends here that don't speak english very well (me too of course!) and use the sw in italian and have the same issue...well there is another thing...if i call the Adobe support here in Italy,they only speak english. For me is not a problem,i understand english better than what i write,but for most people is a pain! So,probably there is a bit of people that have this issue and can't comunicate with Adobe. We are an old country,and english is not really the second language! We are here and we are doing tests,if we can improve the situation...well done! I have After Effects installed to an Intel SSD (same drive as OS). This is interesting Blake. So you are on an SSD disc and you have the delay problem too. ...その他を表示

I know that there are a lot of system configurations and a lot of different situations to analyze. We can only wait the new release hoping that all will be fixed. I must agree with you Josef. The September "possibly" update is not the way to go. What scares me is that it seems to be a really bad and complex bug to deal with. A programmation error that is not so easy to resolve...so we need a solution from Adobe to make users happy. I'm not happy at this moment but i'm paying the subscription. If i make a mistake with one of my clients,they pretend a fast solution from me and if i can't assure them the solution in an acceptable time...well...they don't pay me! Now we are the clients and Adobe is the pro that we engaged to do a work...September is too late,almost for me...but i can't do anything with this subscription model. I have to pay for a sw that i can't use (not a software that i "don't use"). Sorry if my words sounds a bit angry,i understand the situation and i'm not angry...i'm disappointed. Probably i'm the only one and my voice doesn't mean anything in the statistics,but evrey peace of sw or hardware that i have has given to me a lot of support. Matrox has released patches only for users with certain problems for example. I'm one of them and i've never felt abandoned by them. Thank you Todd for your detailed informations...but...i've tried all you mentioned in your post and unfortunately nothing changes. 4.00AM here in Italy and i'm finishing a work started on AE CC,my bad! No antivirus,no footage in the same drive,but the problem is that lags are present even if i create a simple solid layer. I have no time to format my pc,buy a new SSD drive,reinstall everything,plug-ins etc,so i will stay with CS6,i have a lot of work to do...but...i understand that mistakes could happen and that CC is fresh and we are doing test on it, but (a lot of "but"!) i've jumped in CC to use the Cineware feature and now i can't use it. September is really too late to fix this problem...this is not a controversy and as i said i understand that this could happen,but the update must be released soon. The point is the subscription. I use Photoshop,Premiere,Illustrator and AE...and Cinema 4D no other sw. My work is basically based on Premiere and AE. I use dynamic link all the time. Now i'm deprived of one sw...this is more than an issue for me,because i can't use a lot of features and my workflow is damaged by this situation. AE CS6 is a placebo that can be used for one week or two,but not for two months...probably,because we not have a release date for the update. So i think that this fix must be done before the update of September,just to make users happy and continue to work properly. Or maybe we can have a discount on the subscription! Hi Josh and thank you for the reply! The problem is in every kind of composition,with or without multiprocessing,with or without GPU acceleration,with or without ray-trace and so on. Many people on Windows machines are experiencing the same problem. On AE CS6 all is working very good,so i can't use AE CC. Is the only app that gives me this problem. I'm writing in another thread on this same issue but i think that a new thread will be better... Wow! Fortunately Matrox's new drivers supports AE CS6! So now i've installed AE CS6 and all is beautiful again! No lags,no delay...paradise....and AE CC is gathering dust...i really hope in a solution soon...i've seen Cineware in action only one time... ...その他を表示

Yes Kutny,i have think the same thing! One camera on my keyboard and one camera on the monitor! Pain is the right name for this bug...i've tried everything to solve this. Revert back my graphic drivers,nope,multiprocessing on or off,nope,one monitor...two monitor...nope,CPU-GPU...nope... Is impossible to work with AE in this conditions...i'll try to do my best to show this lags in a video as soon as i can. But i really hope that Adobe will resolve this issue before i start recording! The fun thing is this: i have a Matrox MXO2 Mini with Max that i've unplugged from my pc waiting for the new drivers release. Well,today they release new drivers...and i can't use them! Ok,i'm here again. I've started a new thread about this problem but no reply from Adobe and this is terrible.I mean,we need support and we need a reply from Adobe's team with a deadline. Is AE CC tested only on Mac? Menu delay and lags with keyboard shortcuts. Win7,Nvidia GTX680 4GB,i7980x,DX58SO with triple channel DDR3 12GB ram. If the menu delays and lags in keybord shortcuts are not related...well...that's not important at all! We all nedd that Adobe fix this terribles bug as quick as possible. Yep....really,really slow! My system: i7980x,GTX680 4GB,DX58SO with fast 12GB ram...in CS6 response of shirtcuts was superquick,now if i press P for position...wait...press C for camera tools...wait...press CTRL+Z....wait...press S for scale...wait...enter in the Preference menù....wait...it's really annoying! What's up in AE CC? Multiprocessing is work and not work...there are really some tweaks to do and they have to be made very soon! CC is a great deal,but there are many bugs here...Lightroom that opens by itself sometimes when i put an external HD...Premiere splash screen appears after 30sec delay on the first time i open it,Photoshop stay there another 30sec before i can press New-File... And there is no system problem at all with all of us that have this problems,because all works really well with CS6... Hope that CC will mantein what promised....for now there are a lot of bugs...and a new Premiere version but i have not find yet which bug are fixed... ...その他を表示

I'm having the same error...the cool part of the "manually install the update" is that in the download page of Adobe downloads there is no 13.1.2 file to download...not for me...maybe i'm doing something wromg?
