These types of artsy, reflection, out of focus images are pretty, but I find them hit and miss in terms of getting accepted by Adobe Stock. I think the reviewers spend about 5 seconds on an image, zooming in and looking for focus, noise, fringing, etc. If they find any or all of those faults, it's an automatic reject. You can't delete from that page. Adobe keeps track of your overall rejection rate and needs to keep a count; for instance the current promotion in which we can earn a free year of Creative Cloud for Photographers relies on being able to achieve a certain acceptance rate.. I find it very interesting and useful to look back at why my images were rejected, and have learned a lot from the process. My rejects were initially in the 25% range, but now are probably more like 5%. I also keyword the rejected ones in Lightroom with the tag "ASR" "Adobe Stock Reject" and the reason, such as IP or OOF. Then I won't accidentally try to submit that image again.    I did have two images that were previously rejected suddenly become unrejected and added to my saleable images. There is no minimum number. If your images have useful, complete tags, good quality and a subject that designers are looking for they might start to sell right away. If you upload common subjects, such as a pink rose, you'll never sell it - there are already well over 1 million images with that tag. ... View more

You will never receive any additional detail regarding rejected images. On such a busy scene as this, you would need to zoom in and carefully erase every single instance of a sign or logo. I usually employ the PS Clone Stamp for such edits. You can't just blur them out. Given how the company signs are mounted on the buildings I think it's way too much trouble to get rid them considering that selling the image is probably a longshot anyway.   ... View more

The first one - out of focus and poorly composed the second - really out of focus the third - uneven exposure and out of focus; the Adobe stock editors don't seem to go for this artful type of very limited focus. You have to consider how a designer might want to use such an image in a project. As I've read frequently here on the forums and in other presentations, since Adobe Stock has ~9 million flower photos, a flower image must be technically perfect and really exceptional and unusual to be accepted. Just type "pink rose" in the search box, and you'll see the type of images that are already on the site. Consider branching out in your choice of photo subjects. Capturing people in authentic situations in always a good bet, but you would need model releases of course. ... View more
