Ive been in this thread and living this problem for years... The so called "correct answer" doesnt fix the issue described in the original post. I didnt unmark it, but I may have if I knew I could... I guess somone else agrees with me and unmaked it. Not sure why my post offended you so bad, Im just trying to help the ppl trying to deal with this issue that adobe have let fester for 6 years. Ps.. you can actually see the correct answer by @Thar Lynn Oo above to a workaround (not a solution) and its never been marked as "correct answer"

Ouh Monika, I have read many same thread since 2017 till Nov 2021 about this "changing color" topic. You give us no answer and really not even try to help with any tips on your EVERY COMMENTS, EVERY YEAR.

So.. I slice up a design in Ai to export web jpgs for use in Dreamweaver - all good - I then make some Changess to the design and want to re-export the slices... suddenly ALL SLICES ARE NOT WORKING! The slices seem to be there, well the shape is there, but they are not active slices any more.The only fix is to re-slice the design. I had to re-slice a file 4 times the other day!! arrgghhhh!!! So frustrating to have to re-slice the design evey time I want to export. Anyone else having this issue?? got any ideas/solutions? Ive searched online but cant find any one else facing this issues. Ive tried uninstall/reinstall of Ai but no luck. WELP!

The sRGB looks OK, but the Generic RGB Profile is not a good working space, it is meant for monitors. How is your monitor setup? I stumbled on this post from someone who used the Generic RGB Profile and had a similar problem with colors getting darker: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4202731
