Did you jump over 14.0 or had you already installed that one?

So thanks to folks calling this out (and my natural hesitance to immediately upgrade) I'm still on the previous version. Does 14.0.1 fix everything or are there still some issues?

This workaround is confusing. "If you've already upgraded your catalog, you may need to go to the "Old Lightroom Catalog" folder, retrieve your previous catalog , and perform the update using the above instructions." The workaround instructions start with "Upgrade catalog". What??? I read this as if you've already upgraded your catalog, go back and upgrade your catalog again. How does this fix the problem? I'm not moving to 14 until this gets addressed more clearly because I depend heaving on AI removal.

I trick I use to use a lot was to save in a collection pictures of set crops (i.e. 1200x800). You can easily build them in PS with text to show the size in the image (easier to find that way). When I want a specific size I just go to that colelction, find the one I want, then copy/paste the crop to the pictures I want. Don't use this anymore as LR has gotten better at resizing pictures on export.

I saw that online somewhere...that would have been the perfect place to tell folks that the panels can be toggled with a right-click.

THANKS! It was that simple...the destination panel was also turned off. I don't recall a right-click ever being required before. Most settings like this are handled in Preferences. As for the comments on renaming...nothing drives me crazier than pictures labeled "DSC_xxxx". I always rename them using the shoot, then rename them again after I delete the 95% of the bad ones (to hide the fact I only kept 5% )

So I shot three cards at an airshow this weekend, the first card seemed to import OK. I then went to the second card and the import dialogs all looked different, the most important difference being that I cannot find how to rename photos during the import. The right side has File handling and Apply During Import panels but no rename option. Am I missing something? I believe I have the latest LR CC installed...

First, I can't find that in the FAQ anywhere. How many OS X iupgrades will Adobe continue to support as CS6 grows old in the tooth? I guarantee that wolnt\'t last very long. Second, how does that help me if I buy a new camera that is not currently included in CS6? Since I use Lightroom as well that has the equivalent of Adobe Camera Raw built in, how will they work together in the future when LR is upgraded but PS is not? Adobe has lost me as a customer if they continue down this path exclusively.

Capture One reportedly has a new feature where a green mask is overlaid where the picture is most in focus (thumbnails as well). As an action shooter (sports, airshows, etc) that would greatly help identify OOF shots for disposal. Note: This topic was created from a reply on the Lightroom/Camera Raw: Display camera focus information topic.

Love to be able to add GPS coordinates to photos without blowing away all the old metadata or using a secondary database
