sometimes, when i use the crop image function on a png image embedded,  it works and the image is cropped but I get randomly on either one side of the image a 1px border that is created.  It is random and unpredictable, and if I go back to original size and crop it again, it sometimes not do the white border it can appear on one of the four sides of the image  Is there a way to fix that ?  is the Adobe team aware of the problem and will fix it one day ?  Normal png file size, win 10, latest AI version  Thx  ... hello  probably basic stuff but i dont find an answer  when using file > place, is it possible to specify that I want the files to be embedded directly (instead of linked files) ?  i'd like to skip going to the links panel select the images > burger menu > embed images  Cause I also tend to forget to do that sometimes ^^"  I'm open to any solutions, scripts, actions, or else  Thx ... hello  from my understanding it is not possible to script that function Aling to > ket obj / artboard / selection Is there any workaround ? it is very time consuming to click it for every object  lets say my key obj is always on the top layer and the object to align is one layer below.  i select both objects  How to automate that ?  I've looked thru scripts, and plugins but I'm not able to find anything yet.  This : https://sysys.blog.shinobi.jp/Entry/104/ for me is not working yet  the only thing I can think of is do a mouse capture macro to actually click the UI menus item + Jsx scripts hotkey to center it.  Quite inelegant  Any pointers would be greatly appreciated !  thx ... C: \ Program files \ Adobe Illustrator (your version number) \ Plug-ins \ C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 27 Settings\en_GB\x64\Plug-ins it is not working and I don't see anything in the window > extensions menu (after restarting illustrator) < with the last path I get a conflict and skip loading this folder.  What is the correct way of doing that ?  thx  ... I'm unable to find a way to tell illustrator to use "align to artboard" instead of the default "align to selection" value is there a way to change that via script or action?  I'm in the process of creating a long action/script for file prep. It runs hundreds of lines and some scripts, all good. But there I have one step where I have a small issue One of the steps, create (via script) two text fields on one layer that are sort of on top of each other.  id like to center them, relative to the artboard, vertically and horizontally.
