Hello! I can't for the life of me figure out how I made this design a while ago. Can anyone help me work backwards? I'm pretty sure I made it from radiating circles with just a stroke and no fill, using either transform or rotate/copy and Ctrl+D. I can't figure out how I got the lines to cross uniformly like this to make the triangle shapes but I believe once I got the lines set up, I joined them all and then it let me select different rows of them easily so I could fill with alternating colors.

I'm getting the following error: the operation cannot complete because of an unknown error (CANT) or it just doesn't work when I try to project a pattern on a 3D sphere by using the follow steps: save the grouped pattern using window>symbol and dragging in the pattern use circle shape tool draw a line done the middle and use divide ungroup then select the half circle Effect>3D>Revolve I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on how to make this work and if there is something I need to know when designing the pattern because no matter how much I simplify it, it is still not projecting. My computer is a Dell XPS, Windows 10, 32 RAM, 64 bit Here is what I have tried already that I found in other forums: reset preferences uninstall/reinstall simplified symbol/ changed colors re-started from scratch tried all of the above on second higher powered computer   I've uploaded the illustrator file here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1U_G1Eg0zM_qipbjT1RwgTgesLDyrxzoK/view?usp=sharing Here is a screenshot of the pattern and the result. I'm looking for advice on how to export my illustrator drawing for use as an instagram profile icon. I followed previous posts advice by designing it in 300x300px and exporting as a jpeg and for the first time when I initially upload it it appears to be perfect quality but then when I go back to my profile it is blurry again 😞 I've tried exporting as jpg/jpeg/png with all different settings and still can't get it right. Any advice on specific settings to export with for instagram profile icons? example of quality degradation after exiting edit profile Before exiting edit profile
