Can't reply to posts on Bugs and Ideas section

For the past four hours or so, I can't reply to many threads in the Lightroom Classic Bugs forum.  When I click Reply, the browser scrolls to the second post in the thread or the green-boxed correct answer if there is one, but no reply box appears.  With two threads, I waited for about an hour and then was able to reply, but I can again no longer reply on those threads.

I've tried Chrome, Firefox, and Safari (Mac); logged out and in; deleted all "adobe" cookies and site data.

@Bob Somrak is experiencing similar symptoms with this thread:

I've been having the same problem with the Opera browser (WIndows) for some time, impossible to reply to Bugs or Ideas.

I can reply using Firefox.

Multiple people have said they can't reply to BUGS sub-categories for months.  Try using a different device or browser.

Like I said, Firefox works.

It's entirely possible to code a website that works in all major browsers, but I'm not holding my breath for this one.

"Try using a different device or browser."

As I wrote, "I've tried Chrome, Firefox, and Safari". The bug intermittently struck a number of us all day yesterday, but it seems to have subsided today.

This is the first I've heard about this issue. I'm going to open an internal bug with the Community Team so they can start looking into this.

To whoever is experiencing this issue please let me know (if you haven't already):

Thank you!

Thanks Silvia, if the problem strikes again I'll capture a HAR file.  It was happening to a number of us intermittently but often much of the day on 4/12 but I haven't seen it since.

On my desktop computer, I only have the issue in Opera, which is my default browser.

Opera version is 85.0.4341.60, Windows 10 Pro 21H1, version 19043.1645.

I also have a laptop with the ecact same Windows version, where I have no issues using the same version of Opera.

Here's a link to a HAR file from the desktop computer.

I mistakenly thought I was in a private forum, so I have removed the link.

Silvia, I'll PM you the link.

Thanks so much, @Per Berntsen ! Since it's been a few days, just checking whether you or anyone else is still experiencing this? Thank you!

Here's another person in the Lightroom Classic Bugs who couldn't reply:

I used to expérience the issue on a corporate network with lots of restrictions (x-cookies, firewall, etc) all win browsers.

I could only answer if no one else did before, using the text link, instead of the button.

I noticed that the reply links get a "#comment on this" anchor at the end and that some of the links have a permission denied when I hover them:

https://community.adobe.com/plugins/custom/adobe/oauthssstate/sso_login_redirect?locale=fr&redirectr...

The only way I can answer is if I'm the first responder and I click the "join the conversation" below the thread, not sure what is different about that link.

We're looking into this issue at the moment, but we're not able to reproduce it. We've been asked for a video recording of the issue. Could someone send me one, please? Thank you!

Our network settings changed, and I do not experience this issue anymore, sorry.

Did you transmit the elements I discovered ("#comment on this; special link)

The issue is back for me, I again get #comment-on-this at the end of the reply links when I hover them, the reply buttons disappear when I  click on one of them, and the reply box does not show up. This on a corporate network that uses some tunneling with CBII. (but it used to work for a while)

While the reply links in non-ideas or bug threads do not pop a link at the lower left when I hover them.

For the record, I'm now using the Vivaldi browser, which does not have any issues, I can reply to all posts.

Thanks @PECourtejoie!

The ticket was never closed on our end, we're still looking into this. At the moment, we're testing a few fixes with the help of Khoros. Any updates I'll let you know here 🙂

Nothing happens when I click on reply to this post, is it just me

https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-bugs/p-photoshop-hangs-when-you-want-to-open-a-fi...

Edit: can't even reply to this post, seems to be bug post that I can't reply to

https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-bugs/another-photoshop-update-that-crash-and-don-...
https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-bugs/creating-a-new-document-from-the-clipboard-n...

Found out what's causing the issue, it's strange that it only effects the bug section and not the discussion one and only started the last couple of days, anyway whitelisting community.adobe.com in the "I don't care about cookies" add-on settings fixes it

@Ged_Traynor we had an open bug for this already, this error seems to be intermittent but is affecting all Bugs/Ideas from all boards. I've merged yours and this one together. Thanks!

Hi all -- Khoros got back to us with some potential solutions to explore to fix this bug. We'll kick off an exploration in one of our next development cycles.
